Be blessed
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
This is how the disciples were taught to act. This is what they did. And this is what we desire to do as well.
As National Director of the Partners in International Evangelism Association (PIEI), Romania, I am concerned both for my brothers and fellow workers in ministry—missionaries—and for seeing and bringing alongside us more laborers into His harvest.
This year began with the addition of Brother Ionatan Moldovan to our team. Bazna is the place where he now serves—a new mission field.
Concerned about increasing the number of workers, I bring before you the request to join us in prayer, asking the Lord to open a “great and wide door” in the area of the village of Valchid.
There is a large community of impoverished people with multiple spiritual and material needs. Their children depend greatly on the help of Brother Dorin, his wife, and their son. They serve both the Church and more than 200 Roma children and others, offering the Gospel, food, clothing, and footwear. Their involvement extends into other localities as well, and their desire to do the Lord’s will is evident.
At present, although they previously belonged to the Pentecostal denomination, they are no longer affiliated and are seeking alignment regarding their Christian identity.
I am working to develop a relationship founded on the Holy Scriptures—whose teachings are reflected in their daily lives. It is a beautiful ministry that needs dedicated people with the ability to provide sound teaching and a model worthy of following.
This summer, we intend to organize a Vacation Bible School. The opportunity to spend time with the children, to provide material support, and especially to offer biblical teaching and life examples, can become a “seed” whose fruit transforms characters, lives, and destinies.
By working together, we can contribute to the expansion of God’s Kingdom in central Romania, among the Roma community.
It is my desire that ministry among the Roma would become a special focus of the Partners in International Evangelism Association. You can join us in this project.
The gifts you have received from the Holy Spirit can be a blessing to those in your area—but that area must expand, reaching toward the ends of the earth. Sometimes those “ends” are very close to us, right around us; it is not always necessary to look thousands of kilometers away. Other times, it is necessary to travel those thousands of miles to reach the heart of a child or an adult—serving, sacrificing, and leading them to Christ the Lord.
Please pray that the Gospel may be heard by more and more people—children, youth, and elderly—in the Roma communities of Valchid, Dârlos, Blăjel, and Brateiu.
Do not forget those who are serving faithfully in this area:
The family of Ion Dorin and Ion Crinela-Felicia,
The family of Ion Dorin Emanuel and Ion Angelica.
Thank you—on behalf of those who are co-workers with God within the Partners in International Evangelism Association (PIEI), Romania—for the part you take together with us, whether through your prayers, material support, or physical presence in this year’s short-term mission teams and beyond.
May the Lord be with you!
Timotei Stinea - PIEI Romania National Director
