Be blessed, all of you.

“Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all kinds of prayers and requests. Stay alert in this, with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me…”

Alongside the well-known teaching about the armor of God stands this exhortation given by the Apostle Paul: to give constant attention to prayer for all the saints.

One of the great blessings I have personally experienced is hearing brothers and sisters tell me, “Know that I carry you daily in my prayers.” What a great encouragement—and almost always a deep and blessed comfort.

In countless moments of loneliness, in times of weakness, in suffering or despair, in difficult situations, in need, in uncertainty or humiliation, in times of loss—I have seen the Lord’s help. And this was not because I was in any way more special than my brothers, but because someone was praying for me.

When I later learned, after certain events had passed, that others had been interceding for me, I was deeply thankful to the Lord for what He had done—and for those who had stood in prayer on my behalf.

At other times, when I anticipated problems ahead, I moved forward with confidence in Him, but also with the assurance that I was being carried in prayer—I was not alone.

I wanted you to know this, so that you too may remain strong on the path you have begun. To you who are reading these lines, I want you to know with certainty: the PIEI missionaries in Romania pray for you every Monday evening at 9:00 PM.

Whether you have met them personally, heard about them, prayed, given, or are planning to visit Romania and use your gifts in ministry here—or whether you are part of a family that has been or is involved—do not forget: you are constantly in our prayers.

We ask the Lord to hear your prayers, just as we ask Him to hear ours. “All kinds of prayers for all the saints” is a truth that applies to you. This brings us joy, and we do it gladly.

Therefore, stand firm and always abound in the work of the Lord. He will not leave your labor unrewarded.

May this new year into which we have entered—the “year of the Lord’s favor”—bring you grace and help from Him.

Pray for us as well, that each of us may be found faithful in what has been entrusted to us, with His help. I am confident that we seek to act honorably both before the Lord and before people.

In everything and through all things, may the Name of the Lord be blessed.
