In times like these, when things in the world are changing so rapidly—and not necessarily for the better—we, as partners in international evangelism from Romania, desire to be found before the Lord without spot, without blame, and at peace.
Yet not a peace given by people, as the world gives, but the peace given by our Lord Jesus—a peace that keeps our hearts from being troubled or afraid.
This is because we lift our eyes upward, knowing that the coming of the Lord is nearer now than when we first believed.
In such times, we seek to remain faithful and at peace with the responsibilities the Lord has entrusted to us. We desire to continue spreading the Gospel—the Good News that brings salvation to all who believe.
We are currently focused on preparing the holiday house in Necrilești so that during the summer months, when children and young people are on vacation, they may come and spend time in an atmosphere of peace, joy, and rest, while also studying the Scriptures—through which comes the wisdom that leads to salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord.
We are organizing camps for all who wish to participate. This involves preparing accommodation spaces, study areas, dining facilities, as well as areas for recreation. In this regard, we plan to build a covered space (a pavilion/gazebo) and to arrange a grassy area for sports activities.
At the same time, we are making this location known to churches, associations, pastors, and youth leaders around us, so they may benefit from using it for various Christian activities.
At present, we are preparing a camp scheduled for July 20–25 for children coming from churches served by missionaries. We are also preparing to receive other children and young people from different churches.
With the goal of reaching Romanians for Christ, we pray that God will open their hearts and that His Word will bring salvation into the lives of those who hear it.
We seek to present the message of the Gospel to all participants, both through the Word of Scripture and through the example of the leaders who will spend several days together with them in this place of special beauty, created by God.
If last year, after dedicating the location, we were able to hold one camp, this year, in addition to the children and young people from the churches served by missionaries, we also have four other churches joining us. We rejoice in this and pray that through their participation, God will be glorified and that the hearts of children and youth will be touched by the Spirit of God, so they may receive the Word and experience the presence of salvation in their lives.
We are encouraged by the thought that you will join us in prayer and bring before the Lord all the participants and all the events that will take place during the camp in Negrești, Alba County.
As we mentioned, the location is truly beautiful!
“And if the things that are temporary are so beautiful, I cannot help but wonder what it will be like up there, when we will be together with Jesus, our Lord. Until then, we strive to be found before Him without spot, without blame, and at peace.”
I pray and ask the Lord that among you—and within you, who read these lines—the desire may grow to come and serve alongside us in reaching the younger generations.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
