The power of the blood of Jesus

May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth…

Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

With joy and gratitude towards Him, the Lord’s Church in the city of Victoria, which I serve, came before Him today, praising Him for the way He works.

Over time, as we served Him, worshiped before Him, and pleaded for His mercy for people through prayers. Today we had the joy of witnessing two souls publicly confessing their faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the water of baptism!

Marius T., a 48-year-old man, made the decision to return to the Lord and to follow Him for the rest of his life!

He told me that shortly after the Revolution, during an evangelistic event held together with the Stef brothers, when the invitation was made for those who wanted to receive the Lord Jesus to come forward, he was one of the teenagers who expressed his desire and decision to be a follower of the Lord.

More than 30 years have passed—lost years. He desired to take this step of testimony, but many evil things held him back.

Yet, the Lord’s mercy did not leave him, even in moments of wandering, guiding him to enter into a covenant with Him. Today, he thanks God and rejoices that, although it is late, it was not too late, and he can be counted among the Lord’s beloved!

Pray that he may be strengthened in his faith and remain steadfast on the Way. Pray with us that he may become a mature Christian, and that his testimony—of a life cleansed from sin by the blood of the Lamb—may be visible in his deeds.

Although she comes from a practicing Christian family, she did not follow her parents’ path. But today, at 75 years old, she told me, “I want to make a covenant with the Lord because I believe in Him with all my heart, and I want to follow Him for all the years I have left.”

Sister Luci A. took a step she “should have taken long ago, and I regret so much for delaying it.”

“When will you baptize me? I don’t want to delay anymore.” I asked her, “Do you believe in the Lord Jesus?”

“With all my heart,” she replied.

I then told her, “Today you will receive baptism.” So she became the second baptismal candidate—a great and pleasant surprise for the Church and a joy in heaven for the two who have returned to the Lord, embracing a life as followers of Christ!

Pray for her as well, that she may demonstrate her faith through her deeds and that the years she has left may be filled with peace and joy.

Pray that she may be a good witness, and that those who know her may hear the Gospel through our sister.

Thank you for supporting us in prayer, we, the Church of the Lord Jesus, in Victoria!

We would be glad for you to share in our ministry in Romania!

The Lord be with you all!
