Our lives testimony

May you all be blessed, and may your involvement in everything you do for the glory of the name of the Lord Jesus be richly blessed.

As in every season, the organization Partners in Evangelism International Romania seeks and strives to be found faithful before the Lord in all the projects it undertakes.

We thank those of you who think of us, pray for us, and support the mission work in Romania, and perhaps even desire to join in the activities we have planned for this year, by participating in the short-term mission teams.

Among the major projects of the mission, a very important one is the ongoing missionary work in the field and the support of our national partner missionaries.

We also remember another major project currently underway and close to completion — the camp at Necrilești, which we aim to officially open this year. We look forward to hosting the first meetings there for the missionaries and the children from their churches and areas of ministry, as well as for other churches interested in offering their youth and children a time of peace, joy, relaxation, and spiritual growth.

We also continue to support the work at the PIEI Christian Center in Alba Iulia, intended to serve as a place of accommodation for teams, and for others who need a venue to organize various events, meetings, studies, or conferences — or simply as a shelter during their time spent in Romania.

Last but not least, I would like to mention the center at Podari, located in the southern part of the country, near Craiova — a blessed place that we also desire to serve a major purpose through a major project we have called Reaching Romania.

Today, however, I would like to focus especially on a different aspect: the ministry of our missionaries and the mission work in the service areas of my dear brothers, our national partners and PIEI missionaries.

Every year, I make it a point to visit my brothers in the mission field — to encourage them, strengthen their faith, share in their joys and needs, pray with and for them, and to serve them — so that I may tell others about them and inspire prayer support on their behalf.

First, I would like to speak about Brother Gabi Cuc and his wife, sister Vera. They have been missionaries for many years, laboring alongside others in the southern region of Romania, in the village of Căciulătești — a village that, like so many others, desperately needs salvation and faith in God and in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Despite the fact that sister Vera’s mother is ill and requires constant supervision, the family still finds time to continue their ministry — both through their involvement with the local church and through their mission work in Rotunda, and, in recent months, also in the Juvenile Penitentiary in Craiova.

They continually strive in prayer, and in a very special way, brother Gabi Cuc — a man of prayer — pleads for God to work in people's hearts and to bring them to the cross, to the faith that the sacrifice at Calvary of the Lord Jesus is the only way to salvation.

His prayers and ministry also extend to the fellowship of believers, for whom he feels a deep burden and pain, longing to see lives fully dedicated to the Lord Jesus and strong testimonies within the local community.

Not least, his prayers and sister Vera’s prayers are lifted up for their daughter, Sara, who has not yet surrendered her life to the Lord and who is in desperate need of salvation.

The Cuc family enjoys a good reputation among their neighbors and the people of their village, as well as among the other PIEI missionaries. We rejoice because of them and thank the Lord that we have them as partners and co-laborers in this ministry.

As always, the enemy is not pleased with the progress of God's work and raises all kinds of obstacles and problems, trying to compromise Christian testimonies.

In the case of the Cuc family, I would like to share an incident that ultimately glorified God!

One of Brother Gabi’s neighbors claimed ownership over an orchard that rightfully belonged to brother Gabi, creating tension between the families. Brother Gabi prayed to the Lord, seeking His guidance, and eventually testified that the Lord placed on his heart the decision to offer the orchard to the neighbor without any further claim.

This act surprised the parties involved but, more importantly, it was a gesture of altruism and a true pursuit of peace and goodness in relationships, even at personal cost. We thank the Lord for such testimonies and for granting such strength.

Please pray that God would bless the Cuc family — Brother Gabi, sister Vera, her mother, and Sara.

Pray that their good deeds may glorify God and that many will respond to His call over time.

Also pray that wherever the Word of the Gospel is proclaimed, it would bear fruit at the proper time. Pray for their health, for peace and joy in their service, and for the hope of meeting our Lord Jesus Christ again.

We deeply thank all those who have us on their prayer lists. Please know that we also pray for you, and in a very special way, every Monday evening at 9:00 PM, all PIEI missionaries lift you up in prayer before the Lord.
