As a Christian community, we make it a habit each year to rejoice and give thanks to God for all that we have received from His hand.
We organize this celebration during the months of October or November, depending on the timing and availability of everyone involved.
Each time, we invite not only the brothers and sisters from the church in Beciu, but also believers from other churches—especially Orthodox Christians—and of course, the children from the village.
There are people and children who know absolutely nothing about this celebration, and many come simply out of curiosity.
Our joy is for as many people as possible to come, and we thank God that this year as well several individuals from outside our community joined us.
Our guests had the opportunity to see a celebration unlike those they are used to.
First of all, they enjoyed a warm welcome, they listened to songs they had never heard before, they prayed together with us, they heard the Word of God, and they understood the importance of being thankful to the Lord for all things.
After the church service, they were invited to share a meal with us, which gave them the opportunity to ask questions about the event that had just taken place.
We pray that both the adults and the children who took part in this celebration will be touched by the Word of God. May God place it on their hearts to join us again on future occasions.
May He also grant us wisdom and understanding so that we may know how to conduct ourselves around all the people who attend our church gatherings, as well as when we are among them intentionally with the desire to share the Gospel with each one.
