Now that the summer camps have come to an end and autumn is approaching, it is time for us to look back and take stock of both the challenges and the joys that we have experienced. It is always good to ask ourselves an important question: What have we sent ahead to Heaven?
Salvation is the gift of God, but our reward will be according to the faithfulness of each one of us.
Dear brothers and sisters, in this area where God has placed me, and where by His grace I continue to serve alongside the co-workers He has brought together with us, I would like to share a little about the ministry God has entrusted to us.
Every Friday, we have a ministry with the girls from the orphanage. They are now living in three different locations, and we gather together at the Evangelical Church in Tigveni.
In addition to this, throughout the week we travel to several villages:
* Tuesday: Oiesti
* Wednesday: Valea-Uiasca
* Thursday: Rotunda
* Friday: the orphanage ministry
* Saturday: vaious conferences with Christian workers from Argeș County
* Sunday: the busiest day of the week, as I need to cover three different communities and three churches.
Everything I have shared with you in just a few words is, for me, a great joy. I am amazed at the strength and energy that the Lord Jesus continues to give me for His service.
I thank the Lord Jesus for giving me brothers and sisters from both America and Romania with whom we can stand together as one united front for the advancement of His Kingdom.
Every day, we remember you before the Throne of Grace and thank God for all the help you provide, which enables us to receive both spiritual and financial support for the work of the ministry.
We pray that you will be richly blessed and that, each day, the Lord will carry you in His chariot of victory.
I would especially like to mention the PIEI committees in Romania and the USA: Brother Cornel and Gabi Ștef, Alex and Rodica Popa, the Dragomir family, and others.
From Romania, we are thankful for Brother Timotei, Brother Jenu, Mike and Alis, and for all the brothers and sisters in the United States who faithfully contribute to the advancement of God’s Kingdom, both spiritually and financially.
I would like to close with a verse that has been a great encouragement to me:
Ruth 2:8:
“Listen, my daughter. Do not go and glean in another field and do not leave this one, but stay here with my servant girls.”
May these words also encourage us to remain faithful where God has placed us, serving Him together and trusting Him for the harvest.
