Every praise it's to our God

By God’s grace and mercy, we have now entered the month of July, a season of very warm weather.

First of all, I would like to share some wonderful news with you. I recently traveled to Fundeni Hospital for my regular liver transplant evaluation and a complete series of medical tests. The doctors told me that the results were better than expected. This is a wonderful reason to thank God for His faithful care, protection, and sustaining grace throughout these years.

Another reason for thanksgiving is that my wife, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, has been feeling better recently and is now able to eat more easily. We are grateful for every small improvement the Lord grants her.

The ministry continues to keep us very busy, and there are often unexpected opportunities to serve. Tomorrow, for example, I will attend a funeral in town. The son of one of our faithful sisters has passed away, and although this is a time of sorrow, it is also an opportunity to share the hope of the Gospel with those who are grieving.

Each week we continue our ministry at the Tigveni Orphanage. We drive to three different villages to pick up the children and bring them to the church in Tigveni, where they can participate in our programs and hear God’s Word.

Our weekly ministry schedule continues as follows:

* Tuesday: Prayer Meeting.

* Wednesday: Ministry in the Rudari community of Valea Uiasca.

* Thursday: Ministry in Rotunda.

* Friday: Ministry at the Tigveni Orphanage.

* Saturday: Various conferences and special ministry events.

* Sunday: Our busiest day, as I often travel to minister in as many as three different locations.

Although the work is physically demanding, it is a joyful labor for the Lord Jesus Christ.

We continue to pray for the PIEI Committee in the United States—Brother Cornel and Sister Gabi Ștef, who faithfully labor to provide support for all of the missionaries, together with Brother Alex and Sister Rodica Popa, who faithfully serve behind the scenes by caring for many of the practical and financial needs of the ministry. May the Lord Jesus richly reward them and protect them wherever they go.

We also pray regularly for the PIEI Committee in Romania—Brother Timotei, Brother Jenu, and Brother Mike. Each of them works diligently in his area of responsibility, and I lift them up in prayer every day, asking the Lord Jesus to watch over them, strengthen them, and protect them.

I also remember Brother and Sister Matei, as well as Sister Naomi, in my prayers. I thank God for each one of them and for the heart they have for His mission.

I would like to close with the words of our Lord Jesus from Matthew 5:14:

“You are the light of the world.”

May we continue to shine His light wherever He sends us.

 In God’s grace,

Chilau Traian - PIEI Romania Missionary
