Every year, the month of June holds a very special meaning for me. First of all, on June 9, I celebrated 11 years since my transplant. It was also during this month that the Lord delivered me from Hepatitis C, the virus that had severely damaged my liver and led to cancer.
If I were to summarize my ministry, I would say the same words as the Apostle Paul: “Not I, but the grace of God.” My desire is not to draw attention to myself, but rather to testify, as Paul did in Acts 21:19, about what God is accomplishing through our ministry.
The work to which God has called me is to proclaim the Gospel to those around me in two ways: through my life and through my words. Personally, I believe I have the most wonderful calling—to lead people to the Lord Jesus Christ.
In this mission, God has opened doors that perfectly match the burden He has placed on my heart. He has given us opportunities to minister in orphanages, nursing homes, poor and isolated villages, hospitals, and homes where we are welcomed. Everywhere we go, our purpose is the same: to spread the Word of God so that saving faith may be born in people’s hearts.
We are fully aware that without the support of those who faithfully stand with us—both in prayer and financially—this ministry would not be possible. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank each one of you, and we pray that the Lord Jesus will richly reward you according to His grace and perfect will.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the PIEI committees in both the United States and Romania: Brother Cornel Ștef and Sister Gabi Ștef, Brother Alex Popa and Sister Rodica Popa, Brother Timotei, with whom we meet every Monday evening for prayer together with other missionaries, Brother Jenu Ștef and Brother Mike, along with their families, who have devoted themselves wholeheartedly to the work of missions.
I would also like to thank the Matei Scheau family and Sister Naomi for the medicines they sent through Brother Jenu. May the Lord bless them abundantly for their generosity and love.
Today I reflected on the glorious event that is drawing near—the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The words of Genesis 45:20 came to my heart:
“Do not be concerned about your belongings, because the best of all the land… will be yours.”
May we continue to live with our eyes fixed on eternity, faithfully serving the Lord until He comes.
By the grace of God.
