This month has been filled with many events, but I would like to highlight just a few.
First of all, I want to begin with a joy: I went to Fundeni Hospital for tests and investigations related to my transplant, which I received 10 years ago, and all the results came out very good. This is a wonderful reason to thank God for the way He works and for the way He is in control of even the smallest details in the lives of His children.
Recently, I was meditating on what it means for the Lord Jesus to be your very self. As Galatians 2:20 says: “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me…” May He be my very personality.
In the place where God has set me, even though there are many obstacles and much opposition, we must continue to labor for the interests of Heaven. I have noticed that God Himself takes care of our needs.
I also saw how my son received a powerful lesson while on mission in Ukraine with the team led by Brother Cornel Ștef. The lesson was this: Because of Brother Cornel, in Ukraine they were welcomed like princes! The greater lesson: Because of the Lord Jesus, we will be welcomed into Heaven!
The girls from the orphanage, every time we meet, always mention you in their prayers!
In the poor Roma villages, whether at funerals, weddings, or other occasions, we always seek to proclaim the Gospel, the Good News. My great desire is that in Heaven, at the Reward, it may also be said of us, who are PARTNERS in the advancement of God’s Kingdom on earth: “He did what he could.”
That is why I bring you before the Throne of Grace in prayer every evening between 9 and 10.
We also lift up the PIEI Committees in Romania and the USA:
• Brother Cornel Ștef and Sister Gabi, who is now walking through the path of suffering—may the Lord Jesus strengthen her and assure her of His presence in this trial: “I will be with him in trouble.” And may Brother Cornel receive much grace in his ministry.
• Sister Rodica and Brother Alex Popa, who faithfully make sure the support reaches the missionaries every month—may the Lord Jesus reward them!
• For Brother Jenu’s wife, much health.
• For Brother Timotei—may the Lord Jesus lay His healing hand upon his suffering; though he serves in weakness of body, he refuses to remain in bed. May the Lord strengthen him!
• For Brother Mike and Sister Alis—though they are younger, heavy burdens are placed upon their shoulders, almost impossible to carry. May the Lord Jesus richly reward them.
• For our wonderful sponsors—whom the Lord Jesus has moved to give—we pray that on the Day of His Coming, a great blessing and reward will be gathered to their account: families Ed and Daiana, Matei Scheau, Sister Naomi, and others.
I close with the words of 2 Corinthians 9:11–15.
In the grace of God.
