We thank God for every opportunity He has given us to share the Gospel while meeting the practical needs of those around us.
Eyeglasses Outreach
We were blessed to host a special outreach for people in our community who needed eyeglasses.
Nearly 70 people responded to the invitation.
A mission team from the United States provided eyeglasses free of charge. More importantly, each person had the opportunity to share the struggles they were facing, hear the message of the Gospel, and spend time in prayer with members of the team.
Many were deeply moved, even to tears, by the love shown to them by complete strangers who took the time to listen to their stories, pray with them, and then provide them with eyeglasses at no cost.
Several expressed a desire to begin attending church so they could learn more about God.
At the end of the day, we gathered for a time of worship and praise, during which members of the American team shared testimonies of how greatly they had been encouraged by all that the Lord had accomplished through His grace.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to work in the hearts of those who attended and draw them to Himself.
Firewood for a Family in Need
With the Lord’s help, we delivered a trailer load of firewood to a family facing very difficult circumstances.
The family has three children, and the father has recently been released from the hospital. Because of his health condition, he is currently unable to work.
Although they are not members of our church, they were deeply touched by the fact that we chose to help them without being asked.
We had the opportunity to pray with the family, and we trust that the Lord will continue to work in their hearts and draw them to Himself.
