Visits to Sick Brothers and Sisters and Firewood for Needy Families

We are blessed by God when we draw near to those who are sick and those in need.

By the Lord’s grace, my wife and I visited brothers and sisters who are ill and can no longer attend the gatherings with the church family. Once again, we experienced the joy we can bring when we stand beside them—and how strengthened we are when we see the joy and glory they offer to God in such moments.

One of the sisters, Elisabeta, who is bedridden and paralyzed, expressed her desire to see another sick sister, Eudochia, whom she had not seen for nearly ten years. My wife and I went and brought this sister by car. It was a deeply emotional time when they met—many tears of joy and precious memories shared. Together with them and their family, we sang and prayed. One of them said, “This is heavenly joy.”

Once again, we understood how wonderful it is to belong to the Lord’s family—and how glorious it will be in Heaven, where we will be together forever, never to be separated again.

Another part of the church’s ministry was organizing an outreach to deliver firewood to poor families who, in the middle of winter, had only green wood—or none at all—for heating.

It was a blessed evangelistic effort as well. Those who do not yet know God saw the practical love of believers shown in their own homes. This action was also a blessing for the brothers who participated, as they witnessed the joy and gratitude of those who were helped, even praying together in their homes.

May the Lord be praised and blessed for all He does in us and through us in the lives of others.

The Christian testimony is living proof of our faith in God.

To Him be all the glory for everything.
