I thank God for the wonderful time we had even in this warm summer month.
We had a blessed time with our family. For three weeks, we hosted relatives from America—my wife’s brother and sister together with their families.
It is a privilege to rejoice together, especially since all of them are also brothers and sisters in Christ, so we are part of God’s great family.
We enjoyed sweet fellowship in prayer and singing, and we were glad to visit many beautiful places in God’s creation.
As we looked upon all these wonders, we praised the Great Artist and bowed in reverence before Him.
As the psalmist says: “Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity.”
We also attended a wedding, where we met many relatives we had not seen for a long time.
We were all refreshed and rejoiced in that time together—even some of our children met each other for the very first time.
We pray that the Lord may keep us all in His grace and help us to live in harmony, being a blessing to those who do not yet know Christ as Savior.
At church, we had a VBS with the children.
The theme was “The True Shepherd.”
The children learned Psalm 23 and had lessons about the true Shepherd, the Lord Jesus.
They also had the opportunity to do a craft—making a shepherd’s staff and writing the verses of Psalm 23 on it in order.
They enjoyed outdoor games as well, and God blessed us with wonderful weather so everything could take place smoothly.
Most of the children came from families who do not know the Lord as Savior.
We pray that He may work in the hearts of both the children and their parents, leading them to seek the Lord.
At the church in Hașag, Brother Ghita, who had undergone surgery for cancer, has gone to be with the Lord.
We pray for his wife and their two sons, who do not yet know the Lord—Mili, Ovidiu, and Radu—that they may receive Him as their personal Savior.
May the name of the Lord be blessed in all things
