I would first like to thank God for the way He has shown His love for us during this time in the month of July.
I want to draw your attention to two important events.
The first was a church bench renovation project.
For nearly three weeks, several brothers and sisters from the church got involved in sanding and varnishing the church furniture—specifically the chairs and benches.
I was glad and even encouraged to see how much dedication was put into this task, which was not easy at all.
God also blessed us with good weather, allowing us to work outside until late in the evening.
After that came the reupholstering process, which was even more delicate since we needed a specialist.
We truly saw the hand of the Lord when, at just the right moment, He sent us a brother from the USA (Brother Cornel Stef), who had come to Romania for a children’s camp. He had about three days available and helped us with the upholstering of the benches.
In all of this, we saw how wonderfully God works. Glory to Him.
The second event was an evangelistic outreach carried out with a team from America, who offered people eyeglasses.
It was a special time, during which—besides receiving a pair of glasses—people also had the opportunity to talk with us.
There were two teams of brothers who listened to each person’s problems, prayed with them, and offered suitable solutions from the Word of God.
At the end, each person received a New Testament and several booklets.
We trust that the Lord will cause His Word to bear fruit in their hearts, and we are praying for that.
A special prayer request:
— Brother Ghita from Hasag has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and underwent emergency surgery.
We are praying for him and for his family, who are not believers.
