With the help of the Lord, we had a blessed time together with all the brothers and sisters in the church, where we sat together at a table prepared especially for this.
I was impressed to see their dedication in preparing this event and the joy with which they did it. I was happy to see that they responded to the invitation and were more than 90 percent present.
The purpose of this meeting was to get closer to each other, to interact and to show our love even more in a more practical way.
I noticed their openness to discussing with each other and how open they were to expressing their desires and even the pains or problems they were facing. It was also a wonderful time of worship through singing and prayer.
One of the sisters said:--it is good to have events like this more often and not only when we have guests.
"How pleasant and how sweet it is for brothers to dwell together in unity"
Another joy I want to share is that we have a time of preparation for baptism with three people who have made the decision to follow the Lord.
We have three candidates: Pavel, Dorina and Roxana.
The first two had been coming for some time, but Roxana was a surprise to me, because she had only been to church once before, almost a year ago.
She came and told me that she wanted to be baptized because three weeks ago she repented. I realized that something had happened and that she knew what she had to do. In a dream, the Lord called her, standing at the end of a road and beckoning her with his hand.
Only then did I find out that her mother had repented but had given up and now she wants to surrender her life to the Lord Jesus. She came to the community through marriage, so I did not know her past.
I visited her with my wife and we were happy to see that her husband (Simion) was not against it and we prayed that the Lord would work on his heart as well.
We also have two prayer cases for which we are praying especially:--Sister Camelia who was diagnosed with cancer more than two years ago and now the cancer has returned more aggressively
---Elena, who is the daughter-in-law of a sister in the church, also with cancer. We pray that the Lord will work in her body but also in her heart and that she will accept Christ as her savior.
Thank you Lord for all the brothers who support us and are with us in the ministry we do. May the Lord bless you
