Evangelism and Spiritual Edification

I want to glorify the Lord for the honor He gives us to proclaim the Gospel, both to the brothers in the context of the church and to those who are unsaved.

This time, I would like to share a bit about the ministry with children.

I believe this aspect of children’s evangelism is very important, and we pray that the Lord will make the Word sown in the tender hearts of the children fruitful.

In this ministry, Nuti (my wife) together with another sister, Gina, strive every Sunday to help the children hear the Word of Scripture, to explain it in a way they can understand, and even to memorize parts of it.

They pray with the children, sing together, play together, and also celebrate name days with little parties.

From time to time, the children come before the church in a special program and present what they have learned.

I believe this is encouraging both for the brothers and for the children.

Each time, we pray with the church for them.

It should be mentioned that most of the children’s parents are not from the church, so they have the opportunity to hear and see what is being sown in their children’s hearts.

Another part of the evangelistic ministry is through visits to the sick and to families in the community who are open to receiving us.

Most of the time, where there are sick brothers or sisters, there are also relatives who do not know the Lord.

Here, we present the Gospel that addresses both physical needs and, especially, spiritual ones.

The sickness caused by sin is the most terrible of all.

We have the opportunity to share the Gospel with them, pray for them, and bless them in the Name of the Lord.

There are two people who have decided to follow the Lord and are facing strong opposition from their families.

Dorina is alone with her son, who disturbs her, speaks rudely, and provokes her in many ways.

Dumitru, whose wife passed away, has two married daughters and lives with his mother.

Since he started coming to church, his mother has stopped cooking for him and speaks very harshly to him.

He was hospitalized, and his mother didn’t want anything to do with him.

When he came last week, he was deeply hurt because his mother had asked him, “Why don’t you just die already so I can be rid of you?”

We pray that the Lord will protect him.

In conclusion, I would like to share that we had a blessed time with the missionary brothers from PIE.

It was a wonderful fellowship in which we looked at the epistle to Titus and tried to reflect on the order Paul showed Titus for the church.

We must follow the biblical model in ministry and, through it, bring glory to our Lord.

It is important to encourage one another as servants and to pray for each other.

Thank you for your support, both in prayer and financially.

May the Lord bless you.
