Dear brothers and sisters from the USA — our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine — we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We praise and thank the Lord for His care and protection this month, during this time of war in Ukraine, and for enabling us to serve Him without hindrance. God blessed my ministry in His harvest field this month in the following ways:
1. Bible Institute
- I taught the Book of Exodus at the Bible Institute. These lessons brought profound biblical revelations to both the students and myself. We were all overjoyed and thanked God for these insights. There were many questions, but God helped me answer them.
2. Evangelism
- I held two evangelistic meetings at the church in the village of Nesvoya. Four people repented following these meetings. We are praying that they will be fully born again through the Word of God and commit themselves wholeheartedly to Him.
3. PIEI Ukraine Mission Pastors' Meeting
- On September 23, we held a meeting for the pastors and missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission. All the pastors and missionaries from our mission attended.
- I taught a lesson on thanking God for all the blessings He bestows upon us, as the churches in our region are currently celebrating a Thanksgiving service.
- All the missionaries thanked God for what He is doing in their ministries within His harvest field.
- During this gathering, the missionaries also expressed their gratitude to God for the brothers and sisters from the USA who support us missionaries in Ukraine. We truly need your help right now because we are living through a war—a very difficult time—and we must help everyone living in the war zone, as well as the refugees among us who are asking for our assistance.
We have also been praying for all our sponsors, asking the Lord to grant health to them and their families. It is a great blessing when the Lord bestows both physical and spiritual health.
4. Thanksgiving
- We thank God for our missionaries who serve Him both in our region and in the war zone in Ukraine, helping those in need and sharing the Holy Word with them.
- We thank God for you, our brothers and sisters in the USA — our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine —for your help, both material and through prayer.
- We thank God for the souls who have repented following our evangelistic outreach; glory to God.
5. Prayer Requests:
- Please continue to join us in praying for peace in Ukraine.
- Pray for the souls who repented this month, that the Lord may strengthen their faith. I especially ask for prayers for Mikhail Vermenchuk; he has repented but remains very vulnerable to alcohol. He asked us to pray that the Lord would give him the strength to withstand temptation.
- There are many sick people in our church whom we visit. We pray that the Lord strengthens their faith —that He heals them if it is His will, and also prepares them for their transition into eternity.
We, too, are praying for you—dear brothers and sisters in the USA—as well as for your families and churches. May God bless you abundantly.
