PIEI Ukraine Mission Report for 2026
Introduction
We, missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, are grateful to God for His protection and care throughout 2026. In this difficult time of war, with enemy bombs and missiles flying across Ukraine, our Lord has kept us safe from explosions, even though missiles and Shahed drones have struck our region. Glory to God for His protection. As stated in Philippians 1:12, all circumstances unfolding in Ukraine will serve to further the Gospel. Despite these challenging conditions, our PIEI Ukraine missionaries have seen great success in evangelism.
1. Repentance and Baptism:
God blessed our missionary ministry in 2026, resulting in 60 people coming to repentance. Additionally, 30 people were baptized during this period.
2. Ministry with Children and Teenagers:
Our missionaries conduct ministry sessions for children and teenagers twice a month. We rejoice that they regularly attend these blessed gatherings. Most of the teenagers involved are those who attended the summer camp in Boyany or participated in our church-based day camps. We continue to pray for these children.
The teen camp held in Boyany from July 20 to 25 was also a great blessing. Forty children came to repentance, and 110 heard the Good News of Jesus Christ; glory to God.
3. Eyewear Ministry:
From July 20 to 25, an eight-person team from the USA, led by Brother Cornel Stef, visited to conduct an evangelistic outreach involving the distribution of eyeglasses. Debbie Conry, a medical professional, tested people's vision and provided the necessary glasses; afterwards, the recipients received pastoral counseling from members of the US team. Twenty-five of these individuals repented—glory to God.
4. Bible Institute Ministry:
We conducted classes with Institute students covering two books of the Bible: Psalms and the Song of Solomon. During the second semester, we studied Genesis and Exodus. The students greatly enjoyed studying these wonderful books of Holy Scripture.
5. Youth Ministry:
We are delighted with the youth ministry activities organized four times a year by our young leaders, who study the Epistle to the Philippians together. The youth are also planning all the programs for Christian day camps for children for the upcoming year, 2027.
6. Radio Bukovyna Ministry:
Radio Bukovyna: Through this station, the Word of God is proclaimed, allowing listeners to accept Christ into their hearts. Many people have repented as a result of these radio broadcasts.
7. PIEI Ukraine Missionary Meetings:
Our missionaries with PIEI Ukraine meet regularly for Bible study and corporate prayer.
8. Women's Ministry:
Our sisters held two conferences this year, during which they prayed fervently for the end of the war in Ukraine and discussed how best to assist those suffering as a result of the conflict.
9. Ministry to refugees:
Twice a month, our missionaries deliver humanitarian aid and food supplies to residents in frontline areas—specifically Hostomel (Kyiv region) and Kherson—while also sharing the Word of God with them. A Church of God has been established in Hostomel, and in Kherson, 250–300 people attend each service. Eight people repented at the last evangelistic outreach—glory to God!
Other missionary brothers serve refugees living in our region by holding evangelistic meetings and Bible studies, as well as providing food and other necessities.
10. Ministry to widows and orphans:
- During 2026, we held two evangelistic events for widows and orphans. We thank God that we were able to provide meals for 250 orphans, as well as widows affected by the war. We conducted Bible lessons, games, and contests with them, and served delicious breakfasts and lunches. We gave them gifts that brought them great joy; they praised and thanked God, acknowledging the Lord as the Father of widows and orphans—glory to God for everything.
Thanksgiving:
- We thank God for His help and support in our ministry here in His harvest field.
- We thank you, brothers and sisters from the USA—our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine—for helping us organize the youth camp in Boyany, where 110 children spent time and 40 of them repented.
- We thank you for your prayers and assistance in the ministry we carry out here for the Lord. Prayer requests:
- Please join us in prayer for an end to the war in Ukraine and for the Lord to continue protecting us from enemy missile strikes.
- Pray that we can successfully organize the Christian youth camp scheduled for July 19–24, 2027, in Boyany.
- That we may raise sufficient funds to host this camp for 130 teenagers.
- That we may assemble a strong team of leaders and teachers.
- For peaceful skies, free from enemy missile attacks.
- That the Seed of Truth sown in the hearts of these teenagers may yield abundant fruit of repentance.
- Pray for the 250 orphans to whom we will share the message of Christ during our outreach events in January and May 2027—that they may accept Christ into their hearts. May these days be blessed for these orphans.
—We also pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA—our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. May the Lord bless you abundantly!
With love and gratitude, all nine of us—pastor-missionaries from the PIEI Ukraine mission.
