Greetings to you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine.
- We are grateful to God for His protection and defense in this difficult time for us in Ukraine. Despite all the difficult circumstances, the Lord helped us to have success in evangelism. Over the course of two weeks, the Lord helped me to serve in three churches, Glory to Him.
1. Service in the church of Forosna
- In this church, we organized a mini-evangelism. The sisters sang psalms and I preached on the topic: "How the Lord heals a believer from unbelief and doubt" Luke 24:25-27; 44-45.
2. Service in the church of Zhilovka
- In this church, the Lord put it on my heart to speak on the topic of Romans 3:23-24. All have sinned and no one can say that he is without sin. Only saints will enter the Kingdom of God and showed how a sinful person can become a saint. - To become a saint, you must accept Christ in your heart and then a person becomes a saint and can enter the Kingdom of Christ. God looks at him through the prism of Jesus Christ, Who takes upon Himself the sin of man. One woman, Valentina, has been going to this church for a long time. She really likes our meeting, but her husband is not a believer. We realized that she is waiting for him to come to the meeting. Although he has already been to this meeting a couple of times. We pray for her so that she understands that repentance cannot be delayed, because tomorrow is not ours. We pray for this family.
3. Service to the church from Nesvoy
- I held two evangelisms in this church. At one I preached about the grace of Christ, and at the other about the love of Christ.
After these evangelisms, one person repented and now wants to be baptized, glory to God. This brother is the grandson of the first presbyter in the church in Nesvoy, which was founded in 1918. He said that he wants to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, who brought the Gospel to Nesvoy after the First World War, brother Vasily Marandyuk. And this brother is Valery Marandyuk. He has been since 1956. Thank God that even in these years he realized that he needed to repent before God.
4. Visiting the Sick
- My wife and I visited our brother, missionary Vasily Preutes, before his second prostate surgery. I prayed for him and asked that the Lord God help him get out of this difficult situation. Thank God that He heard the prayers of the church and ours, and brother Vasily came out of this operation safely. God heard our prayers, glory to Him for everything.
- In his car, he brought a lot of help from the village to the sick and poor people in the form of food, so that they would not be in need. 5. Thanksgiving
-We are very grateful to God for your prayers for us, and for your help in our ministry here. With this help we can help the sick and needy here. If it were not for you, I would not be able to serve in the church from Nesvoy, which is located 65 km from the city of Chernivtsi, where we live.
6. Prayer needs
-Pray for brother Valery Marandyuk, who recently repented and wants to be baptized.
-Pray for a ceasefire and for the long-awaited peace to come to Ukraine.
-Pray for the family of Valentina from Zhilovka, so that the Lord will give them repentance.
-Pray for missionary Vasily Preutes, so that he can safely recover, according to his health, in preaching the Gospel.
-Pray that we can continue to collect humanitarian aid for the soldiers on the front lines.
- Pray that the church established in Gostomel, Kyiv region, could grow in the number of church members and in preaching the Gospel.
- Pray for our volunteer brothers who always go to bring humanitarian aid there on the front lines, so that the Lord would protect them from all evil.
- Pray for me too, so that the Lord would give me health and strength in this ministry that I do here in the Field of God.
And we pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. May the Lord bless you abundantly, your families, your churches and your country USA.
With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel & Larisa family.
