Dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!
- We are very grateful to God for His protection and defense in this difficult time for us, the time of war in Ukraine. And glory to God for everything, because despite the difficult time, despite the fact that rockets and bombs are still flying all over Ukraine, but the seed of the Word of God was sown and this Seed of Truth brought much fruit of repentance of sinful people.
- We have organized many Christian children's camps in Bukovina, including our camp of the PIEI Ukraine Candela mission, where many children and teenagers accepted Christ in their hearts. Glory to God for His blessing in this difficult, but blessed ministry.
1. Meeting of missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission.
- On August 22, 2025, our missionaries had a meeting that was organized after all our Christian camps. This meeting was in Novoselytsia, in the Emmanuel church, with the missionary brother Popov Valery. All our missionaries very animatedly told in their reports about the blessings of the Lord for the July-August months in their services in Christian camps, baptismal holidays in their churches and evangelism among the settlers. They also said that thanks to our camp in Boyany, held last year and this year, among the teenagers they received water baptism: in Rokytna 3 young girls (Karina, Vitalina Ruth), in Dinivtsi 2 girls (Yulia Paskar and Kristina Chupak) and in Novoselytsia one girl (Stasya). Stasya's parents are unbelievers and she had to endure a lot of suffering from her parents, but thank God she endured everything, was baptized and this year she was a leader in our day children's camp in Novoselytsia, and in Boyany in the Kandela camp. The youth is also preparing to be baptized in other churches - Glory to God. May our Lord God strengthen and confirm in faith all the hearts of those being baptized!
- Also blessed was the ministry of the brothers from the USA. The ministry of evangelism with glasses, where the brothers and sisters from the USA, led by brother Cornel Stef, president of misiunii PIEI, sister Debie Conry doctor, held these evangelisms in our churches, where all those who wanted to come to the church for help received glasses, and also prayed a prayer of repentance with a group of pastoral brothers for spiritual care. In our church from Nesvoy, one brother repented last week and we thank God for him and pray for him. Also in other churches, these people come to our churches to listen to the Word of Truth. We pray for all these people so that they sincerely repent and accept Christ in their hearts. Our missionary brothers expressed great gratitude to sister Debbie Conry for the glasses that she gave to people. These people came to our church and thanked this team that came to us from the USA and Romania. May the Lord bless you all with health and well-being in your lives.
-Thank God that a group of brothers led by our missionary Kioresko Grigoriy safely arrived from Kherson (a city in the south of Ukraine), where they had a meeting with the migrants who live there. He himself will write to you about his trip, but we know that it is very dangerous to live there. These people are constantly in danger of missiles and martyrs. At this meeting, they received food packages from our brothers, as well as New Testament books and heard the Word of God. Our brothers prayed and thanked God for the protection and safety of these people. We continue to pray for these people, so that they would know the love of our Lord and that they would repent. So that they would be protected by God from all evil.
-Then we had more blessed fellowship with our missionaries, prayed and studied the Word of God. We also prayed for our sponsors, our brothers and sisters from the USA, that the Lord would bless everyone with health and protect everyone from all evil. We are grateful to God for our brothers and sisters from the USA, who are our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. Who sacrifice so much and will support us in our missionary service here in Ukraine.
2. Inductive study of the Word of God
- Conducted inductive Bible study lessons with youth leaders on the Book of John.
- At the Theological Institute, we will soon be taking exams for admission to the Institute from young ministers of the churches of our region. We pray that those students who God chooses to serve Him come.
- Also conducted the book of the Epistle to the Philippians with the youth.
3. We had 2 more funerals where the Word of God was preached and there were also unbelieving relatives. We buried the oldest brother from our church. He was 103 years old. His unbelieving daughters and relatives listened attentively to the Word of God. We pray for them.
4. Thanksgiving:
-We thank you with all our hearts, brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, for your support in our ministry here. For your prayers for us. For your financial help to our Christian camp in Boyany, without which we would not be able to make this camp, because everything has become more expensive here. Glory to God for you, dear brothers and sisters. May the Lord return your blessings a hundredfold.
5. Prayer requests:
-Pray, together stand with us so that this senseless war in Ukraine ends. So that the Lord helps us and brings Peace.
- So that there are no enemy missiles and bombs in Ukraine.
- Pray for those people, children and teenagers who listened to the Word of God in these months: July and August. So that the Lord blesses the Holy Seed sown among people, so that this Seed brings much fruit of repentance.
- Pray also for those children who repented in our camp. So that the Lord strengthens them in faith.
- Pray for our missionaries who serve people here on our mission field. So that the Lord blesses us and protects us from all evil.
- Pray for our volunteer missionaries who go to frontline cities to help those people who live there. So that the Lord protects them from all evil.
And we pray for you, brothers and sisters, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. May God bless you with health and peace. We love you and pray for you.
With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel & Larisa family.
