Ministry of the team from USA

We greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelization here in Ukraine.

Today, 07/28/2025, we arrived from the service in Boyany, from the camp of our mission PIEI Ukraine "Candela". There were 130 of us, children and leaders, in this camp.

1. First of all, we want to express our deep gratitude to all the prayer warriors who prayed for the service in our camp. You prayed for our protection from God and God wonderfully protected us this whole week of the camp.

- God miraculously protected the team from the USA headed by the president of the mission PIEI America, Cornel Stef, and also 6 more people: Debbi Conry-medic, David Beckwith - teacher, Daniel Petrut-pastor of the mission in PIEI Romania, Marius Chilau, translator in Romania, Gabriel and Sindi-family in the USA. They arrived on July 19 and I met them at the border with Romania, then all the time this team was under our care until July 28. This team served wonderfully all these 10 days that were among us in Ukraine, Chernivtsi region. They risked to come to us, although we recently had rockets hit residential buildings and civilians died. Therefore, we took them to spend the night in the forest, where we held a camp, in Boyany. Glory to God for His protection the team of people from the USA and for the protection of all 130 people who were in this Christian camp in Boyany. Everything was blessed by God, calm and the Name of our Lord was glorified!

- We would like to separately thank those of our brothers and sisters from the USA who helped us sponsor this camp. Without your help, we would not have been able to hold such a camp. Because the prices for food have increased greatly this year. But with your help, we were able to take many children from the displaced persons to this camp who cannot pay such a price for a trip to this camp, and we also took children from families in need. Glory to God that everyone liked this camp and Glory to God for the repentance of many children at the end of the camp. 35 teenagers came out to repent, then our leaders talked with 4 more boys from unbelieving families and they realized that they should also repent. We will then write you a testimony of these young men who repented in our camp. Our leaders will give us reports on all the young people who repented. We know that among them were also immigrants and we pray for each of these children so that the Lord blesses them and strengthens their faith in their hearts.

- Our camp consisted of 3 groups studying the Word of God. The first group was led by brother David Beckwith from USA. Translation from English was into Ukrainian. Brother Alex Pastushak - our brother missionary and sister Alina Martsynyuk translated. She is a teacher of English and also translated into Ukrainian so that it would be understandable to all the immigrants who were in this group and other children speaking Ukrainian. The topic was about God's love. The second group was led by brother Pavel Petyhachny. The topic was the Epistle to the Philippians. The lessons were in Romanian, because in our villages from the Chernivtsi region there are many people who speak Romanian. The third group was led by sister Tatyana Nagrudnaya. The topic was the book of Jacob from the New Testament, the lesson was also held in Romanian. All 5 days were blessed lessons and with God's help these children understood God's love for all of us people. Next week we will write to you in more detail about the camp.

2. In addition to the camp, there was another ministry of our team from the USA - MINISTRY WITH GLASSES and Evangelism among people from our villages. This ministry was no less blessed than the ministry in the camp.

The team of evangelism with glasses was in five villages of our region. From 10:00 in the morning until 18:00 this team had a meeting with people from these villages: Kotilevo, Fagadau, Nesvoya, Dinivtsi and Novoselitsa. Debbie and Cindy distributed glasses to people, and brothers Gabriel, Marius; Cornel and Daniel spent soul guardianship with these people who checked their eyesight and received glasses. Many unbelievers came and our brothers talked with these people, prayed with them. These people were very pleased for such a blessed ministry. We pray for them, because many of these people prayed the prayer of repentance, glory to God. And we, missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, are very grateful to this team from the USA who worked so hard in this ministry with glasses. Thanks also to the doctor Debbie Conry for her ministry. She serves people with love and we believe that the Lord will reward her with His Reward. Thanks also to the president of the PIEI mission, brother Cornel Stef, for his zeal in this difficult ministry, especially here in Ukraine, because we are now living in an hour of war and no one knows what awaits us next, but we all hope in the Lord, in His mercy and in His protection. Thanks to the whole team from the USA for taking a risk and coming to us in Ukraine. Thank God for protecting you from all evil. We all continue to pray for you, that the Lord will protect you and that you will arrive safely in the USA and to your homes.

3. Thanksgiving:

-We thank God for protecting and defending us during these 10 days that the team from the USA was among us. Praise God for one week in the Christian camp and for the repentance of many teenagers.

-We thank the brothers and sisters from the USA for sponsoring our camp. May the Lord return to you a hundredfold blessings from God.

4. Prayer requests:

-Continue to pray for peace in Ukraine. So that there are no missiles flying at peaceful people.

-Pray with us for those young men and women who repented in the camp. Pray also for those who did not come out to repent, but we saw tears in their eyes. The Lord is Almighty and can change their hearts. May the Holy Spirit work in these young hearts.

-We all pray together for the team from the USA to arrive safely to their homes.

-Pray also for the ministry with glasses. May the Lord by His Holy Spirit test every heart to repentance.

Once again, thank you brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism in Ukraine. May the Lord richly bless you, your families, your churches and your country USA. The grace of our Lord be with us all! Amen!

With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel & Larisa family.
