Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in the evangelism here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!
I thank the Lord for His mercy and protection in this difficult time for Ukraine, when there is such a war and enemy missiles and drones are flying at us. Drones also flew in here in Chernivtsi twice this week, but thank God that the air defense shot them down. Except of drones, two missiles arrived to Chernivtsi, and we could not to intercept them so they hit residential buildings. Due to that, 4 people died and about 20 got injuries.
We continue to pray that the Lord will protect us here from this evil.
1. On Sunday, July 6, we had a meeting of leaders, where we are again preparing for the Christian camp in Boyany from July 21 to 26. We have prepared all the lists of children who will be in our camp. We have prepared a program for the camp as well as a program for a group from the USA who are coming to us from July 19.
We prayed that the Lord would bless this ministry and that the Lord would protect us all from all evil.
2. On Sunday, June 29, we had an evangelistic meeting where brother Florin from Romania preached. And we are glad that during this brother's stay, 10 souls prayed the prayer of repentance. Among them was our relative for whom we have been praying for a long time. We pray for these people that the Lord will dwell in their hearts and that they will truly accept Christ in their hearts.
3. Funeral.
- We buried one sister (Viorica), 65 years old. There was a large evangelization in their yard. There were about 50 unbelievers who listened to the Word of God. This sister's husband is an unbeliever and so are her sons. We pray for them. One son (Roman) is at war. He was released for his mother's funeral. We pray for all the people who attended this funeral so that the Lord will test their hearts for repentance.
- After the funeral, my wife and I visited the Preutes family, Vasily and Valentina. We prayed for them. Our brother missionary Vasily is sick and needs surgery again. We pray for him that the Lord will help him with this and heal him.
4. Thanksgiving:
- We thank the Lord for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine.
- We thank you for your support in your prayers for us and for our ministry here. We also thank you for the material assistance that helps us serve people here.
5. Prayer requests:
- Continue to pray, dear brothers and sisters, for the long-awaited peace to come to Ukraine. For the Lord to protect us and our families, and all people from Ukraine, from enemy missiles.
- Pray for that families who lost their beloved ones due to Russian missiles. May God comfort them.
- Pray for our camp in Boyany, for there to be a peaceful sky, and for the Lord to bless our ministry here.
- May the Lord bless the arrival of the team from the USA headed by brother Cornel Stef, president of the PIEI mission, their stay here in Ukraine and their departure from Ukraine to the USA.
- Pray that the Lord blesses all our missionaries with health so that we can continue to serve the Lord here in Ukraine. Pray for our brother missionary Vasily Preutes so that the Lord heals him.
And we pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA. We wish that the Lord blesses you abundantly, your families, your churches and your country USA!
