Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our evangelistic partners here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are very grateful to God for His protection and guidance this month of July. This month was blessed with ministry to God both through the Christian teen camp and through the eyeglass ministries in our churches, glory to God for all.
1. We are very grateful to God for being able to host two sisters (Debbie Conry and Melodee Battenschlag) and one brother (David Beckwith) from the USA in our home, where they were able to spend three nights with us. On other days, they spent another five nights at the camp in Boyany, along with the rest of this team of eight. Praise God for the ministry of the team from the USA, who worked with all their might in the ministry both at the camp and in the churches with eyeglasses.
2. One of our daughters, Lilia, was a leader at the camp and helped on the leadership team. Her daughters attended lectures in the first group led by Brother David from the USA. Many children from unbelieving families and immigrants were there and came out to repentance on Friday evening. We thank God that 40 children came out to repentance. Among them were three of my grandchildren, glory be to God. We are praying for all these children.
The children really enjoyed the camp and are very grateful to our evangelistic partners from the USA for their financial sponsorship of the camp.
3. The glasses service was also very successful, where Sister Debbie Conry examined people's eyes and gave them free glasses. On Tuesday, July 21st, people came to our church from the village of Dolzhok to get glasses. After receiving them, they also received spiritual counseling. The Philbrook family, Sten and Kristen, Laura and Ben Stef, and Pastor Cornel Stef worked with the people and proclaimed the Gospel to them, praise God. Many of these people prayed the prayer of repentance. We are praying for them.
4. On Sunday, July 26th, a team from the USA also visited the church from Dinivtsi. Our church was very happy. They had a full program. Brother Cornel preached, and the other team members told us about their ministry. Praise God for the blessed ministry of the entire team from the USA. On the morning of July 27th, we sent this team off as they left for Romania. Praise God that the entire team from the USA arrived safely at their homes. 5. Thanksgiving:
-We are grateful to God and the teams from the USA who came to serve us both at our Christian camp and in the glasses ministry.
-We thank all the brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, for sponsoring our Christian camp and for your prayers for us. We feel your prayers, because the Lord is helping us greatly – glory to God!
-We thank God that the brothers and sisters from the USA team have safely returned home to the USA. May the Lord bless them all.
-We thank the Lord that there were no enemy missile strikes in our region.
6. Prayer requests:
-Pray with us for this war in Ukraine to end.
-Pray that the Lord will test the hearts of all the people and children who heard the Word of the Gospel this month, that they will repent. Pray for those who repented in the Boyany camp, that the Lord may strengthen their faith.
We also pray for you, brothers and sisters from the USA. We pray for your families, your churches, and your country, the USA. May the Lord bless you abundantly.
