Dear brothers and sisters from the USA—our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine—we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am grateful to the Lord for His protection and help this month. With God’s help, I was able to serve both the church in Dolzhok and the church in Dinivtsi. I also attended two funerals to minister through preaching, while our choir ministered through song—glory to God.
1. Ministry with teenagers
- We organized a ministry for teenagers in the village of Dolzhok, a neighboring village where I serve. We held services for 50 teenagers over three consecutive days. Our leaders worked with them, teaching Bible lessons and organizing sports games, contests, and Q&A sessions on the topic. They also received nice gifts. The children really enjoyed these three-day gatherings. We are praying for them.
2. September 1st (Start of the school year)
- School classes began on September 1st, and we were invited to pray for the students and teachers, asking that the Lord God protect them all from evil and misfortune throughout the academic year. I prayed and committed all the students and teachers of the school into God’s hands. May the Lord bless them and keep them safe from all harm.
3. Evangelism for orphans
- Our youth group visited Stavchany, where there is an orphanage. They brought aid packages and presented a wonderful program where they praised the Lord God. The orphans gave thanks to God. 4. Blessing of Children
- At our church in Dynivtsi, we held a celebration where a family—Ion Chupak and his wife—brought their third child for a blessing. Our church congratulated the family and prayed for the child, asking the Lord to bless both the child and the family. The children and youth also prepared a special program to congratulate them. It was encouraging to see many non-believers present at this evangelistic event. We pray for everyone who heard the Word of God, that the Lord would stir their hearts toward repentance.
5. Visiting Churches
- Together with the youth, we visited the church in the village of Hertsa. It was a blessed gathering.
- We also attended two funerals with our choir; I preached the Word of God at both, and many non-believers were present and listened attentively to the message.
6. Thanksgiving
- We thank our Lord for watching over and protecting us this month, allowing us to serve in the Lord’s harvest field.
- We thank the Lord for the favorable opportunities He provided for us to share the Word of God.
- We thank the Lord for you, dear brothers and sisters in the USA—our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. We are grateful for both your financial support and your prayers.
7. Prayer Requests
- Please join us in praying for an end to the war in Ukraine.
- Please pray for the non-believers who heard the Word of God this month, that the Lord would stir their hearts toward repentance. On September 27, we are holding an evangelistic Thanksgiving service in Dinivtsi. Please pray for the non-believers who will attend and hear the Holy Word. Two weeks later, we are organizing a Thanksgiving service in Dolzhok, where I serve; may the Lord bless this ministry as well, for His glory.
