With a desire to serve young people from rural churches—places where organized youth ministry is often limited or nonexistent, and where some churches have only two or three young people—we organized a mission, fellowship, and exploratory trip to Vienna together with a group of youth from several village churches. The trip took place from April 30 to May 3.
During our time in Vienna, we had the opportunity to visit and minister at the Pentecostal Church. It was a great encouragement both to us and to the local congregation. Through worship, fellowship, preaching, and the time we spent together, God worked in our lives as well as in the lives of those we met.
This trip also provided a valuable opportunity for the young people in our group to build meaningful relationships and strengthen their fellowship with one another. We were able to visit beautiful places, meet new people, and experience different cultural and ministry settings. These experiences helped deepen our friendships and broaden our understanding of God’s work beyond our own local communities.
In addition, this journey offered the young people a fresh spiritual perspective and exposure to a ministry environment different from that of their home churches. We believe that experiences like these play an important role in spiritual growth, inspire greater involvement in ministry, and help young believers better understand the unity of the Body of Christ across different cultures, countries, and church contexts.
We are grateful to God for His protection throughout the trip, for the fellowship we enjoyed, and for every opportunity to serve, encourage others, and be encouraged ourselves.
Prayer Requests
* Pray that God will continue to work in the lives of the young people who participated in this trip and motivate them to serve Him faithfully.
* Pray that the relationships formed and strengthened during this time will remain strong, encouraging, and Christ-centered.
* Pray that God will open new doors for mission opportunities and ministry involvement for our youth group.
* Pray that these young people will maintain the spiritual perspective they gained and be a shining light in their local churches and communities.
To God be all the glory for what He has done and for what He will continue to do in the lives of these young people.
