On April 6th, a special gathering was organized at the PIEI Center in Alba Iulia, dedicated to both children and their parents. The purpose of the event was to strengthen Christian values and support families in the process of raising and nurturing their children.
The children had the privilege of watching a puppet theater presentation centered on the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The activity was thoughtfully adapted to their age group, successfully conveying the central message of the Christian faith in an engaging and accessible way. In addition, the children participated in various recreational and educational activities designed to deepen their understanding and joy in living out their faith.
At the same time, parents had the opportunity to attend a presentation entitled:
“Between Love and Discipline: The Balance That Shapes a Child” – The Four Parenting Styles and Their Role in Child Development.
This session was led by psychologist and Christian counselor Bogdan Prejban, who shared valuable insights into how different parenting styles influence the emotional and spiritual development of children. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their own parenting approach and to pursue a healthy balance between love and discipline.
The time spent together proved to be especially productive and beneficial. Both children and parents experienced meaningful moments, each receiving valuable lessons related to faith and to the balance needed in raising and disciplining children.
The event proved to be a blessed opportunity for strengthening relationships and fostering spiritual growth among all the participating families.
