Up to this point, I would say that this year has been quite full, both in terms of our missionary work and in our life as a family.
There have been many activities to organize, especially in our ministry with children, the children’s camps, and the renovation work at the Lord’s house. Time has passed almost unnoticed, and here we are already in the month of August.
We had hoped so much to take a vacation, even if only for five days, but so far we have not been able to make it happen.
Nevertheless, we are very thankful and joyful because, in everything we have set out to do, the Lord has given us success and helped us accomplish what was needed.
Among all the children we took to summer camps, three of them were deeply touched by the Lord. They began to realize that being a Christian means much more than what they had previously been taught. They came to understand that an authentic Christian is someone who loves others and knows how to be loved in return.
They had a wonderful time participating in the camp games and activities, but they were also deeply moved in their hearts by the teaching and messages shared by the camp leaders.
Two of our children, Luca and Lois, graduated from high school this year. As parents, we experienced many emotions because of the exams they had to take, and there are still other exams ahead of them.
There have been many miles to travel and a great deal of money to spend, but through it all, God has faithfully taken care of us.
I thank God for the jobs He has provided for me. It was necessary for me to work because the cost of tutoring for the children, along with their transportation and other expenses, went far beyond our family budget.
I am also thankful to God that, while working, I have been able to share the Gospel in the places where the Lord has sent me. It has been a great privilege to be able to serve Him not only through our missionary work, but also through my everyday work.
We want to thank all of you who take the time to read these letters of information. We invite you to pray for us, for our family, and for the ministry here and beyond.
We would also love to welcome you to visit us whenever the Lord allows you to come, and, if possible, to serve alongside us in the work He has entrusted to us.
Thank you in advance for your prayers and support. We also want to thank the PIEI team for making it possible for these letters to reach you.
May the Lord richly bless each and every one of you!
With gratitude and in His service,
Sfetcu Florin - PIEI Romania Missionary
