By the grace of God, we are approaching the end of this year, and we must look back to see the Good Hand of God the Father, who has protected us until now. He is Sovereign and calls His children home whenever He wills. Only this month we had to accompany on their final journey a faithful sister, 67 years old, and a brother, 71 years old. These moments become opportunities to boldly proclaim the Gospel, and we prayed that the message would reach every heart that heard the Word of God.
When you are committed to the path of ministry, the Lord Jesus gives you both joys and sorrows. When you lead someone on their final journey and see the tears of those left behind, you feel sadness—but when you see a soul receive the Lord Jesus, you rejoice, for Heaven itself rejoices.
The Lord Jesus pours out His grace everywhere I serve, and I serve with joy. But I must testify that when I live my life in dependence on the Lord Jesus, seeing Him go before me, I also see the results: guidance and joy.
The girls at the orphanage, where I go every Friday, bring me another kind of joy—one that is hard to describe. I pray that the Lord Jesus will help me finish my course with joy. And not only for me, but for all of you who labor together with the PIEI missionaries for the advancement of God’s Kingdom in Romania.
Recently, the PIEI Conference in the United States concluded, and brother Timotei informed us in detail about the tremendous effort made by the PIEI Committee in the U.S.—brother Cornel and sister Gabi Ștef, brother Alex and sister Rodica Popa, and others. They also shared the reports from all the countries where PIEI has missionaries, including Romania. We pray that the Lord Jesus will reward each one as He sees fit.
I rejoice that every day I have a mission to fulfill, but even more I rejoice in the strength I receive in order to serve.
I also want to update you about my wife, who has Alzheimer’s, but whom we all love dearly. She is now eating well, and I thank God that He is in control. Amen!
I would also like to mention, alongside the PIEI committees in the U.S. and Romania, all those whom God moves to donate to the missionaries on the mission field and to their families. May the Lord Jesus reward them and their entire households who have made this commitment. He is coming soon.
Revelation 22:12
“Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to his work.”
Amen!
In the Grace of God,
Chilau Traian - PIEI Romania Missionary
