I thank God for the months of August and September, for in His goodness He has cared for us, and the Holy Spirit has given us light and guidance in all the work we have done.

I am thankful for the brothers from PIE, who help us both materially and spiritually, enabling us to carry the Good News of the Gospel.

From August 28–31, we sent six children to camp in Plenița—three boys and three girls. They had activities, prayer, and reading of the Word. At the end, there was a contest where they had to recite three Psalms from memory. Three children from the church in Căculătești won 1st, 2nd, and 5th place. The prize was a bicycle for each of them.

Another ministry was at the prison in Craiova. On August 26 we had our last day there, as the three-month course with the boys came to an end and they were transferred to Brăila. It was a wonderful experience, even though this ministry is hard when you truly put your heart into it. I give glory to God!

On August 15, we received food supplies worth 5,000 lei. Later we also received help from Cluj, which allowed us to buy potatoes for families with very poor children. We found widows with many children living in extreme poverty, and women whose husbands are in prison, struggling to survive in misery. Lord, have mercy and save them!

Prayer requests:

• For the awakening of the church

• For the proclamation of the Gospel in prisons

• For strength to continue the work among hungry children, so they may come to know the Lord Jesus
