By the grace of the Lord, in August we had a wonderful week of Vacation Bible School, during which the children in Nou enjoyed a truly special time together.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our church to welcome between 40 and 70 children each day. A great team of volunteers served alongside the children during the Bible lessons, craft activities, and playtime.
The theme of the week was “Treasure Hunt.” All the children were excited to discover a new treasure from God’s Word each day.
During each lesson, they learned Bible verses, which they recited at the end of each day. Each morning also began with a time of praise and worship, where the children learned new songs and praised the Lord with great joy.
There were also gifts and prizes during the group competitions for those who memorized their verses and those who correctly answered questions from the lessons they had learned.
During the breaks and at the end of each day, the children enjoyed something sweet, and at times they also shared a meal together, prepared with love by the sisters from our church.
We thank God for protecting us throughout the entire week. By His grace, we had no unpleasant incidents or significant problems.
At the end of the week, on Sunday, some of the children took part in a special program where they sang songs and recited the Bible verses they had learned during the lessons. The brothers and sisters in the church prayed and gave thanks to God for this wonderful ministry.
All glory belongs to the Lord for everything He has done!
We continue to pray that the Lord will keep working in the hearts of these children and that the seeds planted through His Word will grow and bear fruit in their lives.
