The resurrection of the Lord Jesus brought great joy this year to the “Grace” Church in Nou.
First of all, we rejoiced to see many people from the community taking part in the fellowship of the church. We say “many” because it has been a long time since we have seen such participation from those who have not yet turned to the Lord. Some of them had not attended church services for a very long time. This was an answer to our prayers, and we believe that the Lord will continue to work through His Spirit in their hearts.
We had a worship service filled with joy, and everything that took place was under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The prayers, the worship songs, and the message all had a deep impact on our hearts and on the hearts of those who were present.
Our joy was crowned by the fact that, at the end of the service, a woman shared with me that she had decided to follow the Lord (Beza Stela). May He be glorified forever!
The children also had a special time in which they praised the Lord and recited poems and verses from Scripture.
Three children from a family outside the church attended a church program for the very first time, and their mother was deeply moved. Since then, she has been coming to every church service. We pray that God will touch this family and help them turn to the Lord.
With the Lord’s help, we have also begun a series of preparatory lessons for baptism. May the Lord work in this as well and grant His blessing.
We also have two special prayer requests:
+ for brother Ilie, who was involved in a conflict with two neighbors, was beaten, and taken to the hospital after being struck in the head.
+ for sister Anișoara, who is grieving the loss of her brother, who recently passed away without having known the Lord as his Savior.
May the Lord comfort the family and work in the hearts of all their relatives.
We thank God for everything He has done, and we trust that He will continue to work in our lives and in the lives of others.
