PIEI Ukraine Mission Report for the First Half of 2026

We, the missionaries of PIEI Ukraine, are grateful to God for His protection and preservation during this first half of 2026. In this difficult time of war, when enemy bombs and missiles are flying all over Ukraine, our Lord protects us from missile strikes, even though missiles and drones are also landing in our region. But glory be to God for His protection. In Him is our salvation and preservation (1 Peter 1:3-9). And despite these difficult circumstances, our PIEI Ukraine missionaries have had great success in evangelizing among the people, glory be to God.

1. Repentance and Baptism

God has blessed our missionary service, and 20 people have repented. Eleven people have also been baptized during this period, glory be to God.

2. Ministry with Children and Teens

Our missionaries conduct ministry with children and teens twice a month. We are delighted that children and teens regularly come to these blessed meetings. These are primarily the same teens who attended camp in Boyany last summer. We pray for these children.

3. Ministry at the Bible Institute

We taught lessons from two books of the Bible with the Institute students: the Book of Psalms and the Song of Solomon. The students were delighted to study these wonderful books of Scripture.

4. Youth Ministry

We are delighted with the youth ministry that our young youth leaders conduct twice a year. They also study the book of Philippians together. The youth are also planning all the services for Christian day camps for children this summer.

5. Ministry on Radio Bukovina

Radio Bukovina. The Word of God is preached through this radio station, and listeners who hear it can receive Christ in their hearts. Many people have also repented through these radio broadcasts.

6. Conference with Pastors and Ministers

We held two conferences for pastors and ministers in our region. These conferences addressed very relevant topics relevant to our times, such as guardianship of souls and ministry in difficult life circumstances.

7. Ministry with Sisters

Our sisters also held two sisters' conferences this past six months, where they prayed fervently for an end to the war in Ukraine and discussed how best to help those in need who are suffering from this war.

8. Ministry with Refugees

Our missionaries deliver humanitarian aid and food twice a month to frontline cities, especially Gostomel (Kyiv region) and Kherson, for the people living there. They also preach the Word of God to these people. A Church of God was formed in Gostomel. And in Kherson, 250-300 people attend each service. Eight people repented during the last evangelism campaign—praise God!

Our other missionary brothers minister to refugees living in our region, holding evangelistic meetings with them, studying the Word of God together, and helping them with food and other necessities.

9. Ministry to widows and orphans

During this six-month period, we held two evangelism campaigns with widows and orphans. We are grateful to God that we were able to feed 250 orphans, and there were also widows from this war. We taught them Bible lessons, games, and competitions. We gave them gifts, which they were very happy to receive. They praised and thanked God for being the Father of widows and orphans—praise God for everything.

10. Thanksgiving

-We thank God for His help and support in our ministry here in His Field.

-We thank the Lord for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA—our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine.

-We thank you for your prayers and for your support in our ministry here where we serve the Lord.

Prayer requests

-Pray with us for this war in Ukraine to end and for the Lord to continue to protect us from enemy missile attacks.

-Pray that we can successfully organize this Christian youth camp this summer, from July 20th to 25th, in Boyany.

-That we can raise enough funds to hold this camp for 130 teenagers.

-That we can assemble a good team of leaders and teachers.

- That there will be peaceful skies without enemy missile attacks. May the Seed of Truth sown in the hearts of these teenagers bear much fruit of repentance.

- Pray for the 250 orphans to whom we will speak about Christ during the orphanage event on May 23rd. May these orphans accept Christ in their hearts. May this day be a blessed one for them.

- And we pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. May the Lord bless you abundantly!

With love and gratitude to you, all 9 brothers, pastors, missionaries from the PIEI Ukraine mission.
