Blessing of Children

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are very grateful to God for His mercy and protection during this difficult period of war in Ukraine. I am also grateful to God for helping me succeed in His ministry through evangelism. Over the course of these two weeks, I conducted the following services.

1. Bible Institute

- I taught the book "Song of Songs" at the Bible Institute. The students loved this book and studied it with great enthusiasm. At the beginning of the study, they didn't understand who it was about, but then the students realized it was about the Church's love for Jesus Christ.

2. Blessing of Children

- A young family brought their newborn baby, Nathanael, for a blessing, and I led the service in the power of the Holy Spirit. It was preached that parents, grandparents, young parents, and church pastors should pray for the blessing of children, so that this child would not be punished for three or four generations, but that the Lord's mercy would be shown to him and blessing would be extended to a thousand generations, as written in Exodus 20:5-6. This baby is Nathanael, who became seriously ill immediately after birth. When my fellow pastors and I prayed over him, the Lord healed him—praise be to God!

3. Participated in distributing invitations to the pastors' conference from March 27th to 28th. I sent these invitations to ministers of churches in the Novoselitsky district so that they could attend this conference. I think I will participate in this conference with my wife, Larisa.

4. Evangelism

- After the evangelism that took place in our church, a young woman named Milena repented. She attended our camp in Boyany last year and was in my group where we studied the Epistle to the Philippians. We are very grateful to God for Milena and pray that she will continue to walk in faith in Christ and that she will make a covenant with the Lord through water baptism. We also pray for all the young people who attended our camp, that they will repent and accept Christ in their hearts.

5. Thanksgiving

-We are grateful to God for protecting our Bukovina region from enemy missiles.

-We are grateful to God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. We thank you for your prayers and for your financial support. Thank you for supporting us here in Ukraine during this difficult time of war.

6. Prayer requests:

-Pray with us for peace to finally come to Ukraine. May God help us!

Pray for our Christian camp from July 20th to July 25th. May the Lord grant us a peaceful sky above us and bless the Holy Word that will be sown among the children and teenagers at this camp. May we gather the necessary number of leaders to minister to the teenagers. May the Lord bless the teachers with the Power of the Holy Spirit and the health for this ministry. May the Lord bless the hearts of the teenagers and give them good soil, so that the Seed of the Lord will bear much fruit of repentance.

Pray for the group of brothers and sisters from the United States who will come to minister with us in Ukraine this summer, led by Brother Cornel Stef. May the Lord protect them from all evil and bless their ministry here in Ukraine.

Pray for the orphan and widow outreach that our church will be holding on May 23rd. May the Lord bless this entire ministry, and may all glory be to God. Amen.

We pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA—our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. We pray for the health of each of you. We know that America also faces various illnesses, but we pray for you that the Lord will heal you all and that we will all serve the Lord with joy, so that the Lord's name will be glorified through our lips and through our good deeds—Glory to the Lord for all things. Blessed be our dear brothers and sisters from the USA.

Soon we will celebrate Easter, and on behalf of our entire family, we wish to congratulate you on the Resurrection of Christ: Christ is risen! Christ is truly risen!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.
