From July 30 to August 2, a day camp called “ALEG — I Choose to Live for God” was held at the Sports Base in Cricău.
Approximately 50 children from the communities of Craiva, Cricău, Galda de Jos, and Ighiu took part in the camp. It was four wonderful days filled with joy, games, creative activities, Bible lessons, and beautiful moments spent together.
The theme of the camp was “I Choose to Live for God.” Through games, lessons, and practical experiences, the children discovered that life is made up of both small and important choices: I choose to try, to help, to share, to be courageous, and not to give up. We wanted to help them understand that the small choices they make today can become the major choices that shape their lives tomorrow.
Above all, the children were encouraged to make the most important choice of all: to follow God and to live for Him.
A special aspect of this year’s camp was the involvement of several parents, who participated in the lessons and activities alongside their children. We see this as an important opportunity to build relationships with families and to take the message of the Gospel beyond the children and into the lives of their entire families.
We thank God for the opportunity to invest in the lives of approximately 50 children. We are grateful for everyone who was involved, for every volunteer, for the parents who opened their doors to us, and for the atmosphere of joy and freedom in which God’s Word could be shared.
We believe that the seeds planted during these days can bear fruit in the lives of the children and their families. We pray that what they heard will remain in their hearts and, in time, lead them toward a personal relationship with God.
PRAYER REQUESTS
1. For the children and the seed of God’s Word
Please pray that God will work in the hearts of these approximately 50 children and that the message they heard during the camp will not be forgotten. Pray that they will choose God and learn to live for Him.
2. For the parents and families
Please pray for the parents who participated and for the families of all the children. Pray that God will continue to open doors for relationships, Christian witness, and greater connection with the church and the Gospel.
3. For the continuation of the ministry
Please pray for opportunities to maintain contact with these children and to continue investing spiritually in their lives. Pray that God will provide wisdom, strength, and dedicated people for this ministry in Craiva and Cricău.
Our prayer is that every child will be able to say, not only during the camp but also in everyday life:
“I CHOOSE TO LIVE FOR GOD!”
