“Though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.”

Holy Trinity Baptist Church in Victoria, Romania!

We are continually seeking every possible opportunity to bring the Gospel to all people. We recognize that this has become increasingly challenging, as many hearts and minds are focused more on material pursuits than on spiritual matters. Nevertheless, our church is committed to finding ways to reach people’s hearts, especially the children of our church families.

We strive to provide evidence, examples, and biblical truth that will help them understand God’s will and make decisions they will never regret. Please pray with us for our families and our children—that they may come to faith in Christ and receive the gift of salvation.

Pray also that the testimony and influence of our church in society will continue to be positive and God-honoring, as it has been by His grace until now.

MISSIONARIES

Our missionaries are currently focused on preparing for the many summer ministry opportunities ahead. VBS Camps and other outreach events are at the forefront of their planning.

Organizing these camps is not an easy task. While many children and parents desire for their children to participate, the costs can become burdensome, especially for families with several children. To help meet this need, Partners in International Evangelism has committed to covering 70% of the camp expenses, while local churches and families contribute the remaining 30%.

Due to rising costs, what once required only $12–15 per child for a day camp now costs approximately $28–30 per participant. We pray that the Lord will continue to provide and grant us wisdom as we organize meaningful, Christ-centered, and enjoyable summer camps for children and youth.

Because summer is also a time when families travel and spend vacations together, church attendance and participation in worship services often decrease. As a result, missionaries are frequently involved in additional services, events, and ministry responsibilities, making their schedules especially demanding.

Please pray that the Lord will give our missionaries wisdom in managing their ministries both within the churches and on the mission fields. Pray also that God would raise up additional laborers to serve alongside them in the harvest fields and local congregations.

CHRISTIAN CARE MINISTRY

One of the greatest and most blessed ways of making the Gospel known and demonstrating God’s love is through practical care for families facing hardship and poverty.

The involvement of missionaries in supporting these families serves as a powerful testimony both to those receiving assistance and to those observing the love of Christ in action. It demonstrates genuine Christian compassion and reflects the heart of the Church toward people in need.

We pray that those who witness these acts of kindness may glorify God in the day of His visitation.

A phrase we often hear about faithful believers in Romania is: “They do not only say it—they actually do it.”

Through personal sacrifice, church support, and donations from brothers and sisters both in Romania and abroad, food, clothing, footwear, firewood, and many other necessities regularly reach those in need.

Please pray that when people receive these gifts, their hearts will be filled with gratitude toward God. May they recognize His provision and care for the widow, the orphan, the foreigner, and the poor.

REACHING ROMANIA

As summer begins, the ministry center in Alba Iulia is preparing to host a variety of ministry events.

One of the most important responsibilities during this season is welcoming mission teams that will be serving in Romania throughout the summer.

The first team will arrive on June 21 and will be involved in two areas of ministry.

The construction team will travel to Negrești, where they will assist in building a roof for the pavilion that will be used for camp activities and ministry gatherings.

The younger members of the team will participate in two summer camps. The first camp will take place in Sibiu County and will serve approximately 100 Roma children. For many of these children, this will be a unique opportunity to hear the Gospel and experience Christian fellowship. The second camp will be held in Alba County and will focus on English-language learning combined with biblical teaching.

This will be a new experience for many of the team members, as they have never before participated in a short-term mission trip.

A significant need and challenge for our ministry center is the purchase of two or three gas heating units that can provide sufficient hot water for guests throughout the year and also supply heat during the winter months. At present, hot water is produced through a wood-burning system.

Please pray for God’s provision regarding this need. Each unit costs approximately $2,500, and these upgrades would greatly improve our ability to serve the many groups and individuals who visit the center.

We would also appreciate your prayers for all summer events. Pray that God will grant safety, protection, and smooth operation in every aspect of the ministry. Pray especially for the children—that they would be attentive, responsive to God’s Word, and filled with joy as they participate in the camps.

 NECRILEȘTI

One of the greatest blessings we can share is that, through God’s grace and the faithful support of many brothers and sisters, we have successfully completed the camp cabin at Necrilești.

The facility is fully equipped, functional, and ready to serve once again this year. It has become a wonderful place of ministry and fellowship, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed through prayer, financial support, labor, and encouragement.

May God richly bless each of you and your families for making this project possible.

Now a new challenge stands before us. We have begun construction of a pavilion next to the cabin—a gathering place where children, families, and camp participants can meet, fellowship, play games, hold activities, and share meals together.

Our goal is to complete this project by July 1, 2026, so that all summer participants may benefit from it.

By God’s grace, we already have some of the necessary lumber and have received approximately $8,000 toward the project. We still need about $12,000 to complete the work.

The overall cost has been significantly reduced because a mission team, led by Brother Walter, will assist with construction. In addition, we have access to skilled Christian builders from Romania who are serving at a greatly reduced cost.

These provisions encourage us to trust that, with God’s help, this project will also be successfully completed.

Please pray for the safety of the workers, for God’s blessing upon the teams involved, and for all those who will benefit from this facility in the years to come.

PODARI

As I write this report, I am currently in Podari, carrying out maintenance work on the property, including mowing the grass, spending time in prayer, and seeking God’s direction for the future of this ministry location.

We have many hopes and plans for this property, but one of our greatest desires is that God would provide a family willing to live here and establish a Christ-honoring testimony within the community.

Please pray that God would bring the right people for this ministry opportunity and that He would clearly guide every step.

Pray also that we would have wisdom and a clear vision regarding the future purpose and use of this property. We desire that it would continue to belong fully to the Lord and serve His kingdom purposes.

We welcome your ideas, suggestions, and involvement as we seek God’s direction for this ministry. Above all, we ask that you remember this work in prayer, just as we continue to pray for you.

MISSION TEAMS

As mentioned earlier, our first mission team will arrive in June, followed by a second team in July.

The first team will assist both with camp ministry and with children’s outreach programs.

The second team will spend several days in Romania. Part of the group will visit the Apuseni Mountain region alongside Pastor and Missionary Florin. Another portion of the team will provide eye-care consultations in two locations. The first outreach will take place in Brother Cornel’s ministry area, while the second will serve the region where Brother Petruț Daniel ministers.

On the 18th, the team will travel to Ukraine, where they will serve alongside local missionaries in camps and other ministry activities.

Please pray that the Lord will protect them, use them effectively for His glory, and bring them home safely.

Pray that both in Romania and Ukraine, even though their service is short-term, its impact will have eternal significance.

Thank you for partnering with us through prayer.

May God richly bless you all and bless the ministry you faithfully carry out for the Lord, for your families, for your churches, for missions, and for the communities where God has placed you.

In Christ’s Service,

Timothy Stinea - PIEI Romania National Director
