Extended school

Even though the school year has ended for the children, for us, it continues in an extended program.

Many of the children have practically moved into our home. We are glad to show hospitality to these children—and they know it well.

My wife has become a mother to all the children we host each day.

Not every day, but every two or three days, Alina enjoys braiding the girls’ hair, spoiling them with boiled corn, strawberries, donuts, popcorn…

We are happy that they not only enjoy coming to church and the children’s program, but they love coming to our home as well.

We love investing in these little ones by teaching them God’s Word—sharing stories of great men and women of faith—and also by showing them the same love that we ourselves have received from God.

We thank the Lord for the parents of these children who, despite criticism from some, have understood that our only goal is the good of their children.

At our “school,” we teach from a book that is not part of the regular public school curriculum, but it speaks directly to their hearts and helps shape their character.

We thank the Lord that He gave us this book, so we can offer and teach from it free of charge.

Our school gives life—life in abundance—and it follows a path that leads to the Kingdom of God.

We kindly ask everyone reading this letter to pray for these children, for their parents, and for us as well.

Thank you to all of you who sacrifice your time to read these updates, and a special thanks to the PIEI team, who work hard to make sure these letters reach you!

May God reward you a hundredfold!

With respect and appreciation,

Sfetcu Florin – PIEI Romania Missionary
