With the Lord’s help, I have continued the work of evangelism by meeting practical needs and reaching out to people in difficult circumstances. I have met with several widows, most of whom are not connected to the church. They need not only material help, but also spiritual encouragement and the opportunity to hear the good news of the Gospel. I pray that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and help them realize their need for the salvation of their souls.
I also had a very special time with the children and grandchildren who spent their summer vacation with us. It was a great joy to see their interest in learning about how God created the world and why the Lord Jesus had to die on the cross.
Together with the churches in our pastoral fellowship, we are praying for the reopening of the Children’s Bible School in Telna and for the resumption of meetings with teenagers and young people in Bucerdea Vinoasă. We are especially in need of young people and students who would be available to work with the children at the Bible School in Telna.

Needs and Prayer Requests
* For those who have received material assistance: that they would come to love the Lord Jesus, not simply because they have received food or other help, but because they recognize that they are sinners and that they need Him.
* For the young people I meet with for Bible study: that they would make the decision to follow the Lord and entrust their lives to Him.
* For the young people who will teach the children at the Bible School in Telna: that God would give them wisdom, effective teaching methods, patience, and love for the children.
