With the Lord’s help, I continued meeting with several groups of young people at the sports hall and on the synthetic football field. Our discussions with them were very interesting. They asked many questions about the Lord and about the life of faith. They were quite receptive and seemed genuinely concerned about the condition of their souls.

I was able to buy each of them a pair of socks to use when playing football, and for one of them, who is poorer, I bought a pair of sports shoes. This coming Monday afternoon I will have another meeting with these young people.

During this same period we also had two funerals. One of them was for a 93-year-old widow from our church. At this funeral about 60–70 people who are not believers were present, and they had the opportunity to hear the Word of the Lord.

• For two of the young men I have recently been meeting with: Dani and Gelu.

• For those who heard the Gospel at the funeral.
