Sister Sofica went through a time of illness, but through faith she overcame the more difficult period, and God blessed her with restored health. We visited her in the hospital, and she was greatly encouraged by our visit. Through this, we were also able to meet her children and talk with them about the relationship with God that each of us needs.
We continued to visit Ileana and Domin and to spend time talking with them. After we had sung Christmas carols at their home last year, they were very glad that we came back to see them. He also came to church a few times, especially during this past summer. It is a great joy to see hearts open toward the Lord and their desire to know Him in a personal way.

• Prayer for the Christmas Carol Concert on December 18 in Câmpeni with the Emmaus group
• Prayer for Sister Sofica’s children and for her grandchildren, Ghiță and Daniel
• Prayer for Mitru, a 63-year-old man whom we visited at his home
