Dear Partners in Christ,
On the afternoon of June 28, at 5:00 p.m., we held a special evangelistic service together with our guests, Pastor Mihai Mureșan and a group of young people from Someșul Rece Baptist Church in Cluj County.
The evangelistic message was based on Psalm 90 and was entitled, “God Is Our Eternal Refuge.” The songs presented by the youth group were beautiful and inspiring, inviting every soul to come to God and proclaiming that through Jesus Christ, every sinner who repents is welcomed into God’s holy Kingdom.
We were especially encouraged that, once again, several of our unbelieving friends accepted our invitation to attend this evangelistic meeting. They remain close to our hearts and in our prayers. We would also like to ask you to pray for them by name: Mr. Jicu, Mr. Ducu, Mr. Ștefan, Mrs. Lenuța, Mrs. Marcela, Mrs. Iulica, Mrs. Rafila, and Mrs. Lucica.
As we do after each evangelistic service, we enjoyed a time of Christian fellowship together with everyone who attended. The sisters from the church in Ponorel lovingly prepared sandwiches and homemade desserts for everyone. This was a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, build stronger friendships with our unbelieving guests, and encourage them. I also promised to visit them in their homes so that we can continue discussing God’s Word together.
Prayer Requests
* Please pray for Mr. Nicu, a man whose heart is open to the message of the Gospel but who has not yet taken the step of surrendering his life to God.
* Please pray for Brother Todor and Sister Viorica from Ponorel, who are facing serious health problems.
Praise God that the pain in my back has become much less severe. Thank you for your faithful prayers and your loving support.
