May the Lord’s blessing be upon all of us. We would like to share with you a few things from our recent ministry activity in the mission field.
We rejoiced together with the brothers and sisters at the celebration of the Lord’s Resurrection, and we rejoice to proclaim that our Lord is alive forever and ever. This occasion was also a good opportunity to visit people who are sick or have various needs. We also visited elderly and weak brothers and sisters who can no longer come to church, so that we might be a testimony to their families.
Regarding the Digital Bible Institute (DBI), we completed one chapter, the one related to prayer.
With the arrival of spring, the prayer meetings we had on Friday evenings have started being held again at the church location.
Prayer Requests:
We have also made progress regarding the help given to Sister Neli and her children with the work that needs to be done on the house they own in Crăciunelu de Jos, so that they may be able to move in and live there. Please continue to keep us in prayer concerning this matter, that the Lord would bring skilled workers into our path so they may be able to move in before autumn arrives. As a church, we desire to have them closer so that they may participate in the church services and enjoy fellowship together with us, something they deeply desire as well.
We would also like to share with you news that has shaken us emotionally. A dear brother to us, who attends the services of our church, has been diagnosed with a severe form of cancer. With the Lord’s help, I was able to be by his side through this trial. I was encouraged to see him well grounded spiritually despite the diagnosis. He was prepared, if the Lord calls him home, to be with the Lord, and if the Lord leaves him still on earth, to labor more for the Lord. We wept together and prayed that the Lord’s will be done in all things, which I ask you to do as well.
May the Lord be with you in all things!
In Him,
Daniel C. Petrut - PIEI Romania Missionary
