Grateful for the difficult times I have gone through

Dear brothers and sisters in PIEI,

I want to thank you for allowing me to be part of this ministry. I truly consider PIEI to be a part of God’s family—a place where I receive encouragement, prayer, understanding, and loving support.

I am especially grateful for the difficult times I have gone through. You stood with me, shared my burdens, prayed for me, and helped me when I needed it most. May God richly bless each one of you.

One of the greatest challenges we are facing in our church is the number of people leaving Romania to work abroad.

In the year 2000, a brother in our church came to me facing serious financial and personal difficulties. I helped him find work in Germany. He returned there year after year, but over time this had a negative spiritual impact on both his family and the church.

Later, several sisters also began leaving the country for seasonal work. One sister continues to do so even today, and sadly, her entire family has drifted away from the faith.

Over the years, I realized that prolonged separation from the local church often leads to spiritual decline. I lovingly warned them that the church cannot be lived from a distance and that our faith cannot flourish without faithful fellowship. Unfortunately, some were offended by these words.

God’s Word reminds us of the importance of remaining faithful and humble before Him. Ezra’s prayer of repentance (Ezra 9:6) and the exhortations of Scripture challenge us to remain steadfast so that the Holy Spirit may continue to work in our lives and in His church. When the church of God is divided or weakened, it brings great sorrow to my heart.

 My prayer is:

“Lord, forgive me, and forgive those who have drifted away from Your Word. Draw them back to Yourself and restore them by Your grace.”

 Prayer Request

Please pray for our church—that the Lord will strengthen His people, restore those who have wandered from the faith, preserve the unity of the body of Christ, and continue to build His church for His glory.
