Fruits in the new year

Peace to you, dear brothers and sisters!

I sincerely thank God that I can report you for my ministry and that I can work together with you on the God’s field.

We entered the new year and faced to many issues which we need to solve for improving the spiritual case of the church before the coming of Jesus.

One of the main task that we put for ourselves is evangelization in our city and personal gospel for those with whom we live close. For these goals, we arrange different meetings with unbelievers and further we plan to have more connection with them as with young as with old generation.

Praise the Lord that in this year we have three repentance. It makes me rejoice and inspire me for further work.

My ministry in the theological institute in going on. Recently, I teached students by Zoom conference, but in the last session, we met offline as usual. Brothers had a great time to talk and study.

Baptists of Chernivtsi in 2022 celebrate their 100 anniversary. Celebration events planned for June. We sincerely invite everyone to come and celebrate with us such wonderful and significant date.

We work on the program of this feast today and on creation a movie where we tell about the history of our bukovina`s baptist brotherhood.

I thank God that he helped me to write a book, in which described 100 years path of our churches.

We experience with all country not easy period now. There is real possibility of a war. We don't know how will cases develop, but we pray God give us a peace for Ukraine and protect His Church.

Please, do not stop play for us. We really need prayer and spiritual support.

I sincerely greet you and wish you Merry Christmas! Let Baby which was born and became a Savior, bless you abundantly and give you spiritual strength for following Him. I wish you happiness, health, peace, prosperity for you and for your family for many years!

Ministry for His glory

Sincere greetings to you dear brothers and sisters!

Thank God that I can work for the glory of our God and Jesus Christ together with you.

We have a great blessing, our church is preparing for the baptism. Around 10 people have a desire to make a covenant with God. This sacrament will conduct on December 5.

These days I taught the subject of Eschatology to our students at Theological Institute. It is a very interesting and actual topic especially in the light of current events. I preached a series of sermons about it in our church.

I continue to take a part in the ethers at the radio station. It is a good opportunity to reach an unchristian audience.

Finally, I finished the work on writing my book about the history of foundation and development of the baptism in Chernivtsi and at Bucovina. It was very hard and scrupulous work. My son Alex made the layout and design of the book. I hope that at the end of November this book will be printed.

I often went to the different churches of our region with sermons and for various goals.

Now we started the preparation for the performance of different events referring to the Christmas holiday. We want to make more evangelical meetings for children and youth.

We conducted a literature night at our church. Christian poets from our region recited their poems. It is wonderful that we have such great talents who can write their thoughts in poem form.

Prayer requests:

1. For the awakening of our city.

2. For our future baptism.

3. For our Christmas event, may a lot of people know more about God and accept Jesus Christ.

4. For our health, may God protect us from the virus and give us strength to serve Him.

Brief of the fruitful events

Peace and grace to you workers on God`s field. It is writing to you your brother in Christ Pastushak Hryhoriy. Autumn has come so we can make some resumes about summer. It was rich in different interesting events. Most of all remembered is holding various camps: children, youth and elder. In those camps were resting not only believers but also many who rarely or did not attend church at all. So they could hear the Word of God there.

We conducted a great time with teenagers in the Carpathian mountains. We had the school of young Timothy there. Guys will remember for a long time with good impressions about learning of God`s Word, conversations, rest, and journey to the mountain.

We held a seminar with the goal of the parse of the Bible for elder youth. We felt God`s blessing of the fraternal communication of our church there. We had an opportunity to be together for 2 days with deep research of the Bible and prayer.

I was invited by brothers to different churches in our region so I went there with the sermon of the Gospel. Also, I took part many times in the programs of the RadioM.

Besides, I had a lot of meetings in my office to solve many problems and make decisions on urgent church issues. Praise the Lord that He gives me wisdom and strength for that.

Now we are preparing for holding the feast the Thanksgiving day and for the event called "Prayer for Izrael". We plan to organize it at the end of September.

Summer ministries

Dear friends, I greet you! May our kind God bless all of you abundantly!

Hrihoriy Pastushak is writing to you. I want to give a short report about ministry in May.

The most significant event was Easter. We had several services devoted to this theme. Praise the Lord everything was wonderful. I was invited to the television channel "Chernivtsi beam" with a goal to greet all the inhabitance of Chernivtsi and Bukovina with Easter. God gives us so great possibilities and we use that.

I often take part in the radio programs on the RadioM. People are interested in the spiritual questions and ask us to pray for them. Youth and teenagers coffee houses were held. Boys and girls are interested to spend time together and worship God.

We have repentance, most of all youth.

I carry out the preparation for the baptism, which is planned to behold on the first Sunday of July.

We are preparing to hold many summer camps for kids and youth. I want to conduct "The school of young Timofy" for boys.

We have a plan to make many evangelistic services.

We will be able to accomplish all of them with God`s help and bless.

Social measures

I greet you with peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ!

When Spring has come appeared a lot of possibilities for evangelisation for unbelievers on the outside. Cause of the quarantine we could not get close contact with them. Praise the Lord such meetings give good results and we have repentance in our church. People came to the House of the Prayer and devoted their lives to Jesus Christ. For such people, we started some lessons to prepare them for the baptism. I pray that more people come and join that group.

Through the RadioM we constantly have contact with unbelievers. On each program 6-7 people call us and ask to pray for their needs.

I continue to work with the book of the history of baptist brotherhood on the Bukovina. With God`s help, this work is coming to the end. Thank you very much for the financial support for printing this book.

I am glad that we can hold different youth and children's measures. It is a quite necessary job in nowadays conditions. Young people need God and we have to show them the path to Him.

Recently, our church conducted several social measures in the mental hospital and in the geriatric boarding house for old and sick people. Mostly this help is with hygienic means and foods.

We have a lot of plans and aims but everything is in God`s hand.

Writing a book

Peace and grace to you all workers of the mission PIE. I am grateful to God that I have an opportunity to address to you in 2021 and write to you about my spiritual activity.

By the mercy of God, we could perform many Christmas and New Year services, where were present not only believers members of the church but those who wished to spend together with us these holidays.

For the last month, three people converted to God and this fact delights us and our hearts.

I had the possibility to testify about Jesus Christ to unbelieve people through the radio broadcast. I often participate in the program "Spiritual advice" which is directed at people who are far from God. A lot of people write to us, call, ask many questions and ask to pray for them.

I continue to teach "Systematic theology" at the Institute. The last session was online with the ZOOM program. We pray that brothers can come to the Chernivtsi and take their places in the classroom.

We performed the youth meeting "CoffeeHouse" in our church. There were a lot of young people that came to talk with each other and desired to listen to the Word of God.

We have the plan to make many meetings that are directed at evangelization of children, youth, and the old generation.

Now I am working on writing the book about the history of the foundation of baptism in the North Bukovina region. I visit a lot of churches in our region for this goal, by the way, I attended the church in Nesvoia village. I had a meeting with brother Ivan Parpautz. If God blesses and helps us, this book will be printed in the summer or autumn of this year. I work for that and pray for it.

Ordination in the church

I greet you all coworkers of the mission PIE on God`s field.

May God`s mercy and grace accompany all of us in our following Jesus Christ.

I am glad to inform you that God helps me in the ministry as in the church either among the people of our city.

During the last weeks occurred a lot of meetings with those who are believers and who have a lot of questions and problems in their lives. Besides that, I had meetings with unbelievers who need a personal touch and an impact on their situation. I testify to them about Christ as much as I can. Especially such appointments increased right before our local election.

For the last weeks, 6 persons had repented in our church, praise the Lord. Four of them have started to prepare for the baptism already. I am so glad about that because due to the pandemic the attending the church by people reduced considerably.

I pray that the Lord carries our local church through all these circumstances and we could grow as well spiritually as quantitatively.

Last Sunday we had the holiday in our church we ordinated new deacons. Among them is a missionary of the PIE mission it is Alex Pastushak. At once he has involved in the ministry in the Hertsa town. Praise the Lord.

I ask you do not to forget about us in your prayers. We need spiritual and moral support in this difficult time. Thanks for your financial support.

Online children meeting

Peace to you dear my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ! I am grateful to my God Who loves us unlimited and protects us in such a dangerous world. Than closer is coming of Jesus Christ those more brightly appear signs of His returning. And we all can see them.

1. After the Baptism held in our church, we began to think about how to conduct services because the quarantine is going on and many people are sick. The decision had been agreed that we hold three services on Sunday to avoid the mass of people. Such measures give good results.

2. Now before us is the task of how to evangelize people in the pandemic situation. Because many people don't want to come and contact other people, they afraid to get ill. Nevertheless, God is doing His work. One woman came with her daughter to the Church last Sunday. She heard the sermon of Holly Word and knelt before God in the repent prayer. Praise the Lord!

3. We don't have a possibility to hold the children camp this summer so we held it online. This is an unusual method of communication with children but we need to get used to such practice. Almost all children held out until the end of the meeting and they got the presents.

Now the situation of the coronavirus is highly pressed and we pray that God protects all His children.
