Dear brothers and sisters from the United States, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am grateful to our Lord for His protection and preservation to this day. I am grateful to God for His help and support in our ministry here in Ukraine. Although we are still at war and no one knows what awaits us next, we live only by the mercy and grace of our Lord. Glory to God that we have not yet been bombed by rockets, but in Kyiv, Sumy, and other cities of Ukraine, there have been rockets and drone strikes. In Kyiv on July 2, nearly 30 people and six children died, and in Sumy on the afternoon of July 3, three people and one child were killed. There are also casualties in other cities of Ukraine. We only hope in the Lord that He will protect us from this evil and misfortune.
1. Bible Institute
-Praise God that my students and I finished the book of Daniel. A very interesting and instructive book. At the end, we combined the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, and the Revelation of John and received very interesting facts and revelations from the Lord. The students were very pleased with this study. Next, we want to study the minor prophets after Daniel. May the Lord help us in this.
-We are also currently holding an online meeting of all the leaders of the Precept Euro-Asian Institute and studying the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew chapters 5-7. It's a very interesting book, thank God.
2. Meeting of leaders from the "Candela" camp
-We meet with leaders both in person and online to plan our ministry at the "Candela" youth camp in Boyany. Our leaders have a lot of work ahead of them, so we pray for both the leaders and our teachers, Brother David Beckwith and Brother Pavel Petikhachny. We praise God for giving us good leaders for our camp this year.
3. Thanksgiving
-We thank God for the peaceful sky in our region, so we can serve God peacefully during this time of war in Ukraine.
-We thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for your support in prayer for us and for your financial support, which helps us serve those in need here.
4. Prayer requests:
-Pray with us for this war in Ukraine to end and for the Lord to protect us from all evil here in our region. That we may have peaceful sky, free from missile strikes. We have begun ministry in the churches where we hold day camps, as well as our camp in Boyany. May the Lord protect the children, our leaders, and our teachers from all evil.
-Pray that the Lord will protect and watch over the team from the USA, who will come to us in Ukraine from July 17th to 27th for evangelistic services both at the camp and in our churches. Pray that the Lord will bless the Word of the Gospel, which will be sown among children and among people, that it will bear much fruit of repentance.
Pray that the Lord will grant us all health and the strength of the Holy Spirit for this ministry.
We also pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. We are very grateful for your prayers for us. For helping us sponsor this youth camp in Boyany each year. And each year, the Lord has awakened so many young people to repentance, glory to God. And this year, we hope in God that the Word of the Lord sown among children will not return without fruit of repentance. We are weak and feeble, but the Lord God is omnipotent, and may our Great and Almighty God help us in this ministry. Glory to God for everything! Amen!
With love to you, the Petikhachniy family, Pavel and Larisa.
