Different conferences

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1. National Day of Prayer in Ukraine

- On February 24th, we celebrated the National Day of Prayer in Ukraine. Four years ago, a full-scale war began in Ukraine, and the people of God prayed fervently for deliverance and peace in Ukraine. On this day, February 24th, all believers knelt before God and prayed that the Lord would have mercy on us and grant us the long-awaited peace.

2. Pastors' Conference

- I am grateful to God for helping me organize two conferences this month: a pastors' conference and a sisters' conference.

- The first conference was held with pastors from the Chernivtsi region, deacons, and preachers. Ninety brothers attended. The theme of this conference was "The Heart of a Servant." It was said that a minister must have a regenerated heart, so that it can accommodate all church members and all the people living in the villages that have not yet accepted Jesus Christ.

-Ministers must:

a) Visit all unbelievers

b) Pray for them

c) Answer their questions

d) Speak God's Word to them in their homes and invite them to church.

3. Sisters' Conference

- The second conference was held on February 28th with sisters from our region. Thank God there were many sisters—almost 500 sisters from all the churches in our Chernivtsi region. The topic of this conference was: How to remain faithful to the Lord in difficult circumstances. All the sisters studied God's Word to understand how to remain faithful to the Lord during war. Our sisters help families who lost their homes and everything they had in this war. They collect humanitarian aid for these families. They have special workshops where they can meat and vegetables. They arrange all these products in special boxes to prepare them for transport to the war zone. The sisters prepare these products, and the volunteer brothers load them into buses to deliver them to the war zone and to people in need.

Also at these conferences, we prayed fervently, with tears in our eyes, for the Lord to help us and for this war in Ukraine to end.

4. Thanksgiving

-We are very grateful to God for your prayers for us, for your help, both spiritual and material. Through your prayerful support, we feel how God helps us to spread the Gospel more fully. Through your prayers, more people who do not yet know God are accepting Christ as their personal Savior in their hearts, glory be to God.

5. Prayer Requests

-Pray with us for peace in Ukraine.

-That this war in Ukraine will end. We look only to our Lord for help and salvation, and we believe that the Lord will help us.

-Continue to pray for our missionary service here among people. We are preparing for another campaign for widows and orphans in May. We will prepare gifts for them and feed them three times a day. We are also preparing Bible lessons for them so that they will hear the wondrous words of the Lord Christ. We pray for a peaceful sky and for all to be blessed.

- We also pray for the volunteers who deliver finished products to those in need in frontline zones. May the Lord protect them on their journey there and on their return home.

- We pray for our summer ministry, when children's Christian camps will be held in our churches, and for our Non Stop camp in Boyany. Only the Lord God can help us with this, both financially and with peace in our region. We also pray for a team from the USA to join us for the summer ministry. May God help us in this ministry.

And we pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. May God bless you abundantly.

With love to you, the Petikhachny family Pavel and Larisa.
