Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are very happy and grateful to God for January, the first month of this year, for it served as a catalyst for the success of evangelism here in Bukovina.
1. As we wrote in our previous report about evangelism among widows and orphans, we continued to make gifts from the remaining three dollars: candy, fruit, citrus fruits, and even made small bags for the widows of this war who live in a boarding school in Sadgora with their children. They were very happy that God's children have not forgotten them and are helping them in every way, with food and other aid. We prayed with them and encouraged them with the Word of God. Our church also promised to help them with food and other aid they need. We continue to pray for widows and orphans because the Lord God is the Father of widows and orphans. We are His children and must help those in need, glory to God for all things.
2. Bible Institute
-At the Bible Institute, I finished teaching the Book of Psalms. This book was of great interest to all the students, so after completing their studies, they could continue teaching it: in churches, to young people, to orphans, and to anyone interested.
3. Prayer for Sick Children
-Two pastors and I were invited to a children's hospital, where we prayed for sick children with anointing. After the prayer, the children's parents said they were getting better, glory to God. We pastors continue to pray for these children, and among them is a relative of ours who also needs healing and God's blessing.
4. Thanksgiving
-We thank the Lord for His mercy and protection from all evil this month, including missile strikes. Although there were missile strikes, thank God they were destroyed by air defense systems.
- We thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the United States, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, for your material support and for your prayerful support. We wish you abundant blessings from God.
- We thank the Lord for helping us visit the widows at the orphanage in Sadgora. We thank God for bringing them joy, and they praised Him for it.
5. Prayer Requests
- Pray with us for the war in Ukraine to end. We long for the Lord to bless Ukraine with long-awaited peace.
- Pray for such long blackouts in Ukraine to end. In our city, the power only lasts six hours a day. This is very inconvenient.
Pray for the spring meeting with orphans and widows planned for May this year. We want to gather them again at Kovelskaya 25, at the Bible Center, to feed them all day and share the Word of God with them. May God help us.
Pray for us missionaries and our families, that the Lord bless us all with health and that the Lord protect us from all evil. May the Lord bless our ministry here and in the future, so that the Lord's name will be glorified.
And we pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA. We pray for your health, for your families, for your churches, and for your country, the USA. May the Lord bless you greatly.
With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.
