Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. We greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am grateful to God for His mercy and for His protection that we have in this difficult period of war in Ukraine. As always, Psalm of David #90 is relevant today. For he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty, abides and says to the Lord: - My refuge and my fortress is my God, in whom I trust, glory to Him forever and ever. Amen!
1. Meeting of missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission.
- June 4, we had a meeting of missionaries of our PIEI Ukraine mission in Novoselytsia in the Emmanuel Church. We had a blessed meeting and glory to God that He protected us and blessed us.
I preached the Word from John 15:12-14. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Our missionary brothers gave reports on the service done in the mission for almost 3 months. We thanked God for His blessings during this period of service. We also prayed for the upcoming services of our missionaries, for the summer, that the Lord would bless them. We planned the service of our Christian camp, which will be in Boyany from July 21 to 26. We planned how best to organize evangelism with glasses when a group from the USA, led by brother Cornel Stef, arrives.
We prayed for our sponsors from the USA, for our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. That the Lord would bless them with health and all His blessings. All our missionaries conveyed heartfelt greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ to all our brothers and sisters from the USA.
2. Breaking Bread
- On the first Sunday of this month, we held Breaking Bread in our church, where we remembered the suffering and death of our Savior Jesus Christ. I also visited the sick sisters at home on this day and they also had the opportunity to receive communion, together with the church. They rejoiced and praised God for this grace.
3. On the second Sunday, our church celebrated the Feast of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Church of Christ. We also had good evangelism two days in a row. On Sunday and on the second day, Monday. We are glad that people from the world come to our worship. This time there were five people and we pray for them that the Lord will test their hearts for repentance.
4. Thanksgiving:
- We are very grateful to God for His protection and safety, for His blessings in our service here on the missionary field.
- We are grateful to you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for your support, both material and prayerful, which helps us greatly in serving God here.
5. Prayer requests:
- Pray with us that this war in Ukraine will stop.
- That enemy missiles will not fly to us.
- That we can calmly hold Christian children's camps this summer.
- That the Lord will bless our camp in Boyany from June 21 to 26. That the Lord will bless the arrival of the group from the USA. That the Lord will bless the children, and the teachers, and the leaders, and the administration of the camp. That the Lord will bless the Holy Word that will be taught to the children, so that the Word will bring much fruit of repentance among teenagers and children.
We believe in the power of prayer. We believe that the Lord will be with all of us here and with all of you there in the USA, Glory to Him forever!
We also pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA. May the Lord bless you abundantly.
With love to you, the Petikhachnyy family Pavel and Larysa.
