Greetings to you, brothers and sisters, and all the workers of the PIE mission. This is Minister Gregory Kioresko writing for you.
Thanks be to God for His mercy upon us, living in Ukraine, a country at war, and yet we can freely preach the Gospel.
During this time, by the Lord's grace, I preached the Word of the Gospel at eight funerals in various villages of the region. Many people listened to the sermons.
I also traveled twice to the city of Gostomel, where I preached to people about Christ. 300-320 people came to these meetings, listened to the sermon, and then distributed food and vegetables. Two souls there are preparing for baptism.
The trip to Kherson was also pleasant. Under shelling, to the sound of explosions, 450 people came to hear the Word of the Gospel, and in the end, nine souls came forward and repented. We prayed together and entrusted everything to the Lord.
I had the blessing to fly to Italy for the blessing of my ninth grandson, Theophilus. Andrey and Rebekah invited me to share this joy.
On April 19, I flew to Italy again, to Brescia, where our Church (in our community) held a membership meeting and elected a brother to be responsible for this Church. I served there with my son, Benjamin, who serves there and is a youth leader for Italian youth, for Russian-Ukrainian speakers.
In the churches where I serve, in the villages of Rakitne and Kerstenci, we rejoice in the peace and love that the Lord gives us. We celebrated the Resurrection of Our Lord, and in the church in Kerstenci, two people, a husband and wife, repented. This is a great joy for us.
I thank God for you, dear ones, for your prayers and help. May the Lord bless you.
Pray for peace in Ukraine and throughout the world.
Pray for me and my family, that God will help us reach the end with them and remain faithful to the end, no matter the trials.
May God bless you too. We love you.
