Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Glory and majesty to the Lord for caring for us every day and for helping us in such a wonderful way up to this very moment.
1. At the beginning of this month, I attended two funerals at small churches. It brings me great joy to be of service to those who are fewer in number and in need of help. Many non-believers were present and heard the Gospel; I pray that the word they heard will touch their hearts and lead them to reflect.
2. In a neighboring village, where our church carries out missionary work, we celebrated a Harvest Festival. The service took place in the church courtyard; it was a beautiful time of thanksgiving, attended by guests as well. I am glad that, alongside the brothers who were baptized this year, their wives—who are not yet believers—were also present. May God work upon their hearts.
3. A family from Romania visited our church and led a seminar for families. The topic was excellent and provided valuable guidance for family life. My sincere hope is that the Lord’s word has touched everyone who listened, so that we may have healthy families in our church—families that live in the fear of and obedience to God.
Praises:
1. I thank the Lord for the wonderful opportunities to preach His word.
2. I always thank God for all of you in the USA; you are a tremendous source of support and help to us.
Prayer Requests:
1. Let us pray together for Ukraine—that God may thwart the plans of wicked people and bring peace to our country, for which we have been praying so fervently and waiting for so long. 2. Let us pray for those who have heard the Gospel this month, that God may touch them through the Holy Spirit.
3. Please also pray for me, that I may carry out the Lord’s work with reverence and obedience to His Word.
On behalf of our family, we wish all of you who labor for the Lord continued zeal in your service, as well as peace, joy, good health, and many blessings from God. We thank you with all our hearts for your support, prayers, and assistance. We love you and are praying for you.
With much love and peace, the Gortopan family.
