Dear brothers and sisters from the PIEI organization, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
By God's mercy and grace, we have reached the midpoint of 2026, and we will bring glory to the Lord for His care and support in our ministry in the Lord's field.
1. At the beginning of the month, we were visited by a group of young Romanian brothers from London who served in our church. We had a blessed evangelism where our brothers ministered both with the Word of God and through song, glory to God.
2. We continue to pray, together with the church, in a chain prayer for the Lord to have mercy and for this war in Ukraine to end. Our church has been involved in this chain prayer for more than a year now. We believe that only God can change all these circumstances so that we can see an end to this evil that has attacked Ukraine.
3. In the neighboring village of Vanchykautsi, we had a New Testament baptism. Three people entered into a covenant with the Lord Jesus through water baptism. There was a wonderful open-air service, where several unbelievers also heard the Word of the Gospel.
4. After this baptismal celebration in this village, we organized a five-day day camp for children. About 40 children studied the Word of God, participated in games and competitions, and also received wonderful gifts, glory to God.
5. Thanksgiving
- I thank the Lord for the good opportunities we have had for evangelism.
- We thank God for always caring for us and supporting us in the ministries we serve in the church.
- We thank the Lord for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. Thank you for your prayers for us and for your financial support, which supports us in our ministry for the Lord.
6. Prayer requests:
- Pray with us for those who heard the Word of God this month in various circumstances, that the Lord would touch their hearts.
- Pray for those souls who were baptized in Vanchikautsi, that the Lord would strengthen their faith, as they are surrounded by so many unbelievers from this village. May they be a light and salt to unbelievers.
- We will also pray for the baptismal candidates from our church in Tarasivtsi. We will soon have a baptismal feast. May the Lord bless these candidates, that they love the Lord with all their hearts and that they be good examples for those around them.
And we thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, who are our partners and serve with us here in Ukraine. Through your support, we feel your presence among us in our ministry for the Lord here. You are such a blessing to us. We love you and pray for you. We look forward to meeting you.
With love, the Gortopan family.
